inspired by the recent TTCs where Gram had given us such names as "Ghost Mom" "Bless with barf" among other card names, What do you people call certain cards?
Some examples
Elspeth, Sun's Champion = Elspeth, The party Starter
Pain Seer = Patrick
Hero's Downfall = Wasn't this a common in core 2013?
What nicknames do YOU have for your own cards?

Re: What nicknames do YOU have for your own cards?
Many years back, when I was first getting into Magic (and when creatures were so much worse than they are today), I had a theme deck idea. I was into techno music at the time, with its disco influences and heavy 4/4 beat... so I wanted to make a 4/4 creature beatdown deck.
The idea was to try to create 4/4's for 4 mana, which meant either splashing black for Derelor, or getting a bit more creative. As it has a musical underpinning, I thought Titania's Song made sense: 4 mana enchantment to turn all my 4-drop artifacts into 4/4 creatures. I just needed some worthwhile artifacts to play.
I had a minor Regeneration subtheme going, too, since techno was like a rebirth of disco. So, mass destruction could be useful. Enter Nevinyrral's Disk! 4 colorless mana for a major board wipe. If things ever got too out of hand for an army of 4/4's to handle, well, we got options.
Only, I didn't call it Nevinyrral's Disk.
It was Nevinyrral's Disco.
Naturally.

What do model railroading and Magic: The Gathering have in common?

I'm not sure how common it is, but I like to call Brimaz "King Kitty."

A lot of people at my LGS call Path to Exile "Packa" (pronounced Patsca) which means fly swatter in Polish.

For some reason I can't help but call Anticipate 'Antici-Party'.

I call all counter spells "uh, no", being what I say when I cast any of them (and I cast them more often than not).
