Hangouts Against Humanity
Hangouts Against Humanity
So those of you who use Google Plus might be aware that you can play Cards Against humanity via Google+ Hangout.
It's occasionally buggy, and works best in Google Chrome but it's a lot of fun.
Why am I bringing this up you ask?
Well my usual D&D group is all unavailable for our usual session tomorrow (Barring Yax who seems to be buried under several metric butt-tonnes of fireworks). Now we usually play HAH when we're down a couple of players, but with no players I don't have anybody to play HAH with.
So I'm going to make a public hangout tomorrow (7th July) for general chatting or for HAH if you're up for it.
Come for the drunk Keab stay for the questionable morality of your fellow LRRites.
Our usual start time is 10pm BST, but I'm willing to go earlier if we get a more euro-centric crowd.
I know it's short notice, but let me know if you're interested and follow me on G+ so you can see the hangout more easily.

Sounds interesting, a little late, but maybe I could stop by and play for a bit.

Sadly, that will likely overlap with my own Pathfinder game. But I'll pop in if I can, and HAH actually works for me this time (it seems to have a grudge against me when I usually try it).

If I didn't have a family thing tomorrow, I would definitely join in, but I doubt I'll be home before it's over.

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
I'm game. I don't know what the time zone conversion to US Eastern is, though.

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
I think US eastern is 5 hours behind so that would be 5pm for you.
It's a weird time because our group spans from Seattle to the UK, so it's the time that inconveniences the least number of people.

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
And we're live. If you can't see it, I wasn't able to make it a public hangout. So I've just shared it to my Runners circle and the Runners community on G+
Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
Well that was a genuine blast, and not only because I won several times!! Definitely need to schedule more of these!

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
I'm gonna have to join you guys, again for the next one. The last time I played, prompted me to buy a physical deck of my own. I've had a tonne of fun introducing my friends to this game.
Problem is that I don't have a webcam, so I'll have to take my work laptop home with me to join y'all. As long as I'm given enough notice (mainly so that I don't forget), then I should be able to join you guys again.

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
I think next time I organise one of these I'll give you a bit more warning, try to hold it on a Friday or Saturday night, and try to hold it at a time that suits the biggest number of people.
Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
If you're a member of the LRR community on G+ you'll have received an invite to our latest planned session.

I did not, but I believe I am a member...
Edit: OK, I did, but it wasn't labeled very well.

Yeah, sorry about that. I like to make my event names as obscure as possible...
Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
A good time was had by all who attended. We learned that Logic Sword may possibly be even better at CAH than Myrph and Yax.

Re: Hangouts Against Humanity
Just wanted to necro this thread to point out that there's a dedicated G+ Hangout for "Runners Against Humanity" now.
