What is my character wearing? I like to think that my character had a vest/overshirt with many hidden pockets and some visible ones too. Did it, 1) not exist, 2) get taken by the slavers and not found, or 3) remain or return to my possession?
How did my lying training go?
I grew up around pickpockets and rogues, Is there some symbol or thieves' cant that I can use to gain their trust?
Just to make sure my math is right we have the Nomad, Cecily, Desmond, and Clive right now (and Hepheastus coming in at some point but our characters don't know that) so 4 people to share 2700 fens-value?
There is no nationwide thieves' guild as such no; there may (or may not be) be a local branch, but they would likely feel little connection among you. Honour among thieves is overrated.
Your character can be wearing what he likes and anything nicked from said pockets will be in the chests. It is likely, however, to be more than a little roughed up.
Your lying training succeeded, if you couldn't make sense of my post on the matter, but you will not be able to train tomorrow.

Yeah, I have a Welsh friend who made it for me, it's a little bit squished from compression though :/

Ok so for my weapon I choose the Lochaber Axe (although I was very tempted by the Military Fork) Maybe 5 Dalks (if that's ok) and my extra item, a lute (which I can't play...yet)

ok to clarify if a Dalk is about £5/$8 then a Herl would be roughly 35p/57c and a Fen is approximately 0.04p/0.07c. There are 112 fens in a Dalk

Not quite: a fen is equivalent to around £0.04, not 0.04 pence. Otherwise you are correct

I will try to be keeping up on what is going on in the threads but my school now blocks LRR for "gaming content" so I can't access from 6:30 to 15:00 Forum Time.

Re: VOYAGER RPG: Rules, Questions, Player Signup and OOC Cha
So I'm going to be sporadically online for the foreseeable future. My Mum has had to go into Hospital and while she is there I've moved back to look after my Dad. My folks live in the middle of nowhere with poor internet access. I'll still be able to get online while I'm at work but for obvious reasons I shouldn't be on here too long while I'm there.

Sorry I post so sporadically. I often find I don't really have anything to contribute when I probably should be making myself come up with something.

Re: VOYAGER RPG: Rules, Questions, Player Signup and OOC Cha
It's turned out to be quite a slow, sporadic game. That's OK though; we don't have many players, are all in different time zones and it'd be inconvenient for us to try and do it otherwise.

It's been a while since the game updated, just want to see if people are just overworked to put any effort here. Don't want this to die

Re: VOYAGER RPG: Rules, Questions, Player Signup and OOC Cha
I am absolutely still able to do any updates, just thought I'd try to let the characters do some legwork of their own rather than just one long exchange of 'person says, nomad responds'

It's been a month, is the game just dead?

I've just been waiting for someone to do something. It seems interest has died.

I would love for us to pick it up again. Just that I haven't been able to figure out where to pick things up (since I was one of the last to act)
