I'm not gonna lie... the furniture at the first location looked WAY more comfortable.

Fridges, vending machines...

Do you guys just like turning heavy appliances off?

Like some sort of creepy fetish.

And hilarious! Just think how much funnier the video would have been if they hadn't been kicked out! I weep for what might have been!

This Loading Time had a more behind-the-scenes feel to it, whereas the others have seemed more documentary-ish. I think it might have had something to do with the camera changing hands more. It's definitely not worse, and I'm still not sure if it's better, but it's certainly a refreshing departure.

In other news, are you making the background music louder? I've been listening to LRR stuff on headphones more often recently, and the background music on both Loading Time and the new ENN format has ceased being just irritating and is becoming downright problematic at times.

I think it might be your headphones then. I know things come out more clearly when I use headphones.

I had the music louder and then lowered the volume on it. Is it problematic in the sense that you can't understand what people are saying, or just that it's uncomfortably loud in contrast with the rest of the audio?

It's not "problematic" to hear what people are saying, just highly annoying because you have to strait a bit to hear things clearly and are more likely to miss some things. Like when you're having a phonecall on a bus when there's a lot of background noise. I highly recommend dropping the music a bit.

What Master Gunner said - this particular kind of music is synthetic enough sounding that it doesn't actually block the other sounds, but it does get uncomfortably loud when I'm listening closely to pick up some of the quieter voices.
I think part of it may be that with speakers the sharper beeping sounds of the music had a chance to diffuse a bit before reaching my ears, but now with headphones they come through clearer.

Paul has such a mighty beard in this video.
Why is Graham using a white piece of paper to white balance and not a Gray card?

Because it's white?
It doesn't have to be gray to work, and we always have white on hand.

Someone twist the "white on hand" into a joke about their whiteness for me. I'm not feeling very clever at the moment.

Pretty good turn around for finishing the script the night before the shoot.

So, am I the only one wondering if they remembered to turn the vending machines back on?

I was wondering the same thing Angnor. I have this mild fantasy of them being chased down a street by angry security guards being pelted with warm soft drink cans.

But maybe thats just me...

this, so much this. The music is just too high pitched or something to be that loud.

I know it doesn't have to be gray to work but i hear its supposed to give more accurate colors, which isn't usually the focus of your videos anyways. Its about the comedy.
Definitely true about always having white paper on hand though.
I was just wondering is all.

Because security guards are notorious for arresting people, right, Paul?

also, nice beard growing for jer too.
I didnt really like this one compared to others, i think it was maybe too short or just not "documentary" enough, i prefer that type to regular goofing off behind the scenes

And nice beard growing Paul and Jeremy.

Interesting, I preferred this one because of all the goofing off; rather like the latest podcast.

We turned all the machines back on. That's actually what Ben was doing when Tim shot that bit.

This. Moar goofing, please!

Also, I don't quite understand the complaints about the music. I'll concede that music was used more in this Loading Time then probably any other, but I don't believe it interfered with the enjoyment of the video. Rather, I think it added to the professionalism of the "behind-the-scenes"-style video.

I'm enjoying the frequency of bonus videos as of late. Keep up the great work!
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.
