James is the best at Loading Time.
Any reason (that you care to share with us) for the articles leaving the Escapist after this week?
Entertaining video, as always.

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
Only Cam, Beej, and Paul are credited in the video itself. James is the cop in the end stinger, so I'm trying to determine who the other two are. "Construction Outfit" seems like Graham to me. Is "Squatting Guy Checking Out Tire Marks" Cam again? (If James weren't the cop, I'd think that was James.)
I would like to know as well. I have a suspicion: the same as canceling most other things at the Escapist, which is lack of expected viewership, a.k.a. revenue.Jamfalcon wrote:Any reason (that you care to share with us) for the articles leaving the Escapist after this week?

James: Who cares about that question? That's a good answer.
Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
The E was never paying us for Loading Time, they just don't really see it fitting in with their other features, which is fair. We're still gonna keep making the videos, as we would have done without the Escapist column.
The city worker is Alex, the crime-scene photog is Kathleen (she's just cold and crouching the whole time).

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
I pretty much never would have seen Spot in the original video without this Loading Time. So that's added value.

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
It's a bit of a shame the E are dropping the articles. It's nice to have the extra bit of "stuff" to read about your processes in the Videos especially the trivia stuff that's not always mentioned in the Video.
Does anyone else think Cam pulls off the gangster/mobster look too well.....

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
I was more surprised that the normally dapper Cam can be effectively, uh, Prince George'd.

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
Well, you did Loading Times (as well as "On the Run" and other similar ones) prior to getting the Escapist column, so I expected the videos to continue, but I agree with nanobis in that I liked the article part as well. I'm assuming that will go on the actual LRR blog entries now.

You should just rename Loading Time James Time, because James seems to be stealing the show every time.
Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
That'll be an error from the new site migration. I'll ask Paul.

I still crack up at Beej losing his mind when telling Kathleen to hit the brakes.

That's Alex. Beej was calmly on the phone with her, Alex didn't know that.AdmiralMemo wrote:I still crack up at Beej losing his mind when telling Kathleen to hit the brakes.

I would watch James Time.
Or, actually, Anyone Time.

It's James Time, It's James Time, Hey Everybody It's James Time!
But which James is the deadly James?

Re: Loading Time - Junk in the Trunk
I feel like it's been ignored how excellent a choice that old Mercedes is as a mob car. I can name maybe three films off the top of my head where a 90s E-class Mercedes like that just made the scene.
No matter what I say there is a 40% percent chance I'm not being serious, and if I sound like I'm not then I probably am.

I know, right!?
Beej's car was randomly perfect for it.
