Gotta admit, I'd be Jer in that situation. "Come on... just one pack. We only would have seven people with the guys and there are 24 packs. So we have three extra!"

I feel that James stole the show, but I think that's my inner James fanboy talking.

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: The Masters
This was a great episode. Cam was amazing, as usual, something about the character he's playing is very fun. Also, Kathleen's "For Value" was just awesome.

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: The Masters
I actually thought the writing was kind of forced in places. Some pieces of dialogue felt very unnatural to me.
Nonetheless, humor was great as always and I loved all the in-jokes and stuff.

This was hilarious. I feel like I got most of the in-jokes, but the significance of the number on the Martell jersey is eluding me.

Tom Martell's first big finish was 32nd at San Juan = 32
(from @owenArchie)
Jon Finkels card is the Shadowmage Infiltrator which is a 1/3 = 13
LSV = 7
Its Not, the number of times James has proposed Marriage to him
Its not, the number of pro tour wins he has
In 2007 he won Nationals?

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: The Masters
Cam was once again amazing in this episode.
Kate's cakes again stole the show.
The Grull-aid was nice.
I loved the jump cuts between the two scenes.
Also Storm Crow is so OP.

O Cam, you are awesome in everything you do. His speech was epic!
I would also have been Jer in that situation. Must open all the packs!
Another missed opportunity for Iron Stomach return with the Simic Slaw

I think it is a lingering souls reference as it cost 3(including a white) to cast and 2 (Including 1 black) to flashback

It is from #7Drops via @resistancesc
Weirdly Jon Finkel also has 13 pro tour top 8s which is what I thought it was originally

That works too, I guess there are multiple ways to take most of these that apply.

Can someone edit the Gruul Ragebeast so that he's holding a pitcher of liquid and shouting "Oh Yeah!" like the Kool Aid Man?
They're practically identical!

Ask and ye shall receive!
EDIT: Cleaned up a few mistakes!
As for the video: definitely the best yet! Even as only a casual fan of magic these are great - I may not be up to speed on the Pro Tour (amongst other things) but that certainly didn't get in the way of me enjoying this episode. Dat Goyf...

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: The Masters
1. What a perfect recipe for Simic Slaw.
2. Is that the same Storm Crow you opened in the Alliance crack-a-pack for TTC?
3. How cool was it to open a box of Modern Masters pre-launch? More out less awesome than preview cards?
4. Are you worried about accessibility for new players with this video? Pro Tour replays and Storm decks both feel like they require a bit of experience to really get.
5. Love your work and love the new video.

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: The Masters
Everybody had some really strong moments, like Kathleen with the fairies and Alex's hypothetical play. I'm a real sucker for Cam's monologues though.
For me, the Pro Tour bit was just like watching people on a sitcom watch a Packers vs Red Sox game (or whatever). The behaviour of the spectators is familiar and accessible to all, and really the main source of the entertainment. The actual game in question is a largely irrelevant detail.
