Evidently we'll be getting a number of Hero's Path "mini"-episodes over the next few weeks, in addition to regular Friday Nights.

It's like LoadingReadyRun doesn't like being able to sleep. Not that I'm complaining...

This episode was AWESOME. There were several places where I just kind of lost it. The first such place was when Kathleen said "I was thinking Kaijudo," at the beginning of the episode. Started strong and ended there.

Khaavren seemed pretty cooperative... did those scenes require many takes, or did you just happen to catch him on the couch and he didn't feel like moving?

Okay, wow. That was awesome. Definitely one of your strongest videos of the year.

Looking forward to more of those.

Me too, I can't watch it. And I have my very first pre-release event ever this Saturday, I need to know how to act!

From what I can tell the video has been re posted by Wizards on their YouTube channel, but it is not in its original form. A line from the original has been removed. The line being about when Kathleen said "I was thinking Kaijudo,". It has now just been removed and suddenly Kathleen is sitting in the chair continuing the conversation.

Aww... That was a funny line. Alas.

Great episode! Loved the stuff with Marshall, also the "Nyx" effect on Kathleen's hoodie killed me. To me that was an excellent visual joke. Well done everyone!

Solid episode. Are all of the Theros-related episodes going to be focused on Kathleen? It certainly felt that way. Not that being focused on her would be a bad thing mind you. Also, why is she turning into a Lampad?

I have to wonder if the golden hairband Kathleen starts wearing means anything... No, must just be a coincidence.

As a counter point: someone on Twitter told me they stopped watching when the LR Cast showed up.

It's too bad the solid Kaijudo joke was cut. It was a good one I think, and the cut makes it feel a bit awkward. But I can understand why they wanted it cut.

Also, I asked this on Twitter, but that platform might make the answer hard by limiting the characters. So I'll ask here; what are the crews' paths, both real and in the Friday Nights universe?

It seems weird. Isn't Kaijudo a WotC, or at least Hasbro, game as well?

IRL I'm playing Green. In FN, probably the same but we haven't really thought about it.

Kaijudo is a Wizards and therefor Hasbro property.

Maybe they got complaints from people who didn't understand the reference and thought she was saying something else.

Perhaps Kaijudo sounds like a dirty word in some other language but it never came up before.

I have said it before but I think it bears repeating, Kathleens nails nailed it. And Cam being epically Cam was Camtastic.


Kapol I dont think that they are all going to be Kathleen focused, probably focused on one person for each step of the heroes path. I could be completely wrong.

Marshall is a super nice guy, and very knowledgeable about the game. Why does he rub you the wrong way?

I didn't mean it like that; I like Marshall too, I was just joking about the way the video presents the LR podcast as sort of like a voice from a burning bush. I certainly wasn't trying to insult him (or you, for that matter).

EDIT: Actually, I guess I kind of was insulting you, but in a friendly, teasing way.

I'd say they're definitely the best podcast for MtG limited out there, and it's not like we could get LSV or someone, so I stand by the pick.

Also, it's not like we're actually deifying Marshall, it's a joke, so...

FWIW, expect the "Oracle" to return.

Are you (or Marshall) saying that he is behind @OracleofTheros, who spoiled some cards?

I liked the Marshall/Oracle joke. Glad to hear it will be returning. I feel having Marshall involved brings something special to Friday Nights.
