Awesome episode, guys. And the new MTG cards for each of you are funny as always. One question, though: Who was that weightlifter?

Oh, and also: Prancey Pants is the name of my Jonathan Coulton cover band.

This was a great episode, but I really want to know...

Why is Paul's name indented in the credits?

The Pauper pronunciation is easy, just use a British Accent, clears it right up ;)

Also who did the voice for the guy in the gym, seemed familiar but i couldn't place it

New Cards:

Graham Stark 2GG - Planeswalker Graham (Loyalty: 3)

+1: Choose and Audio and a Video Clip you control, synchronise the two.
-2: Export Target File in 1080P
-5: Up to three target unedited video project become edited. Upload those video's. They have haste and protection from comments.

James Turner 2B - Creature Human Hampire (2/2)

When James Turner Enters the battlefield target opponent reveals his or her hand. Choose a card from it. That player puts that card on top of his or her head.

Jester's Cap is the pick here

Kathleen DeVere 1UUBB - Creature Human Millwright (2/1)

When Kathleen DeVere enters the battlefield target opponent reveals cards from the top of his or her library until you stop cackling maniacally, then puts all cards revealed this way into his or her graveyard.

"Drop your deck down the Dimir drain"

Alex Steacy RRR - Creature Human Derp (0/1)

Haste
Tap: Untap Alex Steacy
R: Alex Steacy gets +10/+0 and trample until end of turn. Activate this ability only once per turn and only if Alex Stacy has untapped exactly 100 times this turn.

Cameron Lauder UU - Creature Human Chemist (2/2)

Other chemists you control get +1/+1 and have solventwalk (They are unblockable as long as defending player controls a solvent)

"I'm sure some of these stains on my coat are harmless"

Jeremy Petter U/W U/W U/W - Creature Human Dungeon Master (3/1)

Jeremy Petter has protection from red as long as you control a d20.

Jeremy Petter is unblockable as long as you control a character sheet.

"Roll for initiative"

Matt Wiggins 3W - Creature Human Frump (2/4)

Vigilance, Lifelink

During your upkeep, sacrifice an iced venti two pump nonfat no-whip mocha or tap Matt Wiggins

An unparalleled expression of pure disappoint.

Paul Saunders 5 - Artifact Creature Human Artificer (0/0)

Paul Saunders enters the battlefield with 4 +1/+1 counters on it.

Remove a +1/+1 counter from Paul Saunders: Paul Saunders creates a decklist in a format of your choice.

Sacrifice a decklist: Put a +1/+1 counter on Paul Saunders.

ArchieO i was thinking that! for those who don't know, we pronounce pauper as if it were spelled 'poorper'

Damn the new cards looks sweet. I could not stop laughing at some of them. In 2014 I resolve to finish up all those Funny commander decks I have waiting to be finished.

I should make a resolution to do something with the 15,000 vintage cards I have taking up space. Or maybe just sort my collection of Dark Rituals by set or something.

Loved the episode!
Every single one of Kathleen's cards so far would fit right into my Dimir mill deck. You guys should think about selling them printed on card stock. Can't speak for anyone else but i'd buy them just to have.

Matt's frump on his new card... oh, I couldn't help but smile.

Good episode, overall. Glad you're making good use out of that appearance fee that Matt is charging you. :p

It was Paul. Compare the voice to Ulric from the Warriors of Darkness.

Does the iced venti two pump nonfat no-whip mocha have to be in play and untapped to sacrifice it or can you sacrifice it from exile? Do you have to keep it in your sideboard for tournament play?

If they weren't made of commons, the trophy for prancey-pants could be Alex's "Pants" Pants.

I liked that they had the gang dropping off donations to a food bank and giving a lunch to a homeless guy while they made their resolutions. I really liked the nod to the fact that we gamers are giving and generous and charitable and that Magic: The Gathering isn't everything in life, and there's more more important acts that these people are capable of considering and doing. Happy New Year, everyone.

So here's the real question: Matt comes to visit during vacation. He has a job, and he's on vacation, and he comes to visit the gang...AND YOU HAVE HIM TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE????? Poor Matt. Please tell me you don't really make him take out the garbage when he visits on vacation...

Great episode.

The Friday Nights lot are essentially just the cH characters. They are kind of meant to be unintentionally terrible people in that regard

Well you see, Tim used to take out the garbage, but then Tim left, and frankly no one can tell the difference between Matt and Tim, so they assume they are making Tim keep taking it out, not knowing that it is in fact now Matt.

The real question is how much of a coffee habit do you need to have to be able to keep him from tapping every turn as opposed to like, three times in a day? (I assume sacrificing the coffee means drinking it.)
