It's already added. I've seen NorthernLion uses it quite a bit. Just a simple /host username in the chat by the channel owner, and you're off to the races. Put your fans in the spotlight, or just someone you like. (I envision quite a bit of Kenji hosting prior to a LRRMtG stream.)

As a side-effect of watching the streams via replay, a lot of the time we only hear one side of the conversation, as it were. On smaller streams it's fine because the chat is displayed, but on full-screen streams it can get a little confusing. I know that streaming is much trickier than just playing a game regularly, but would it be possible to reference what you're responding to from the chat a touch more?

Obviously, this is only a minor issue, and I'll still be watching regardless.

I don't want to be 'that' guy, but I seem to have been banned from speaking in the chat. I don't know of anything I could've done to warrant such action. The only thing I could think of that might have caused it was a joking comment about anal-probe during the strider marathon. The little drills that poke up from the floor. I didn't think it was that inappropriate, but I apologize if it was and if the ban is irreversible, then I am still sorry.

Sorry if this is annoying, just thinking forward to Desert Bus and that's an event I'd still like to be able to talk for. You know, be able to do auctions and all that stuff. My account name on twitch is the same as this account. Please and thank you.

Looking at the timing... I can't say for sure (as my chat logs don't currently record when someone is banned)... but my guess is: some random got banned for spamming a bunch of arrows into the chat, and then you posted that Konami Code joke using the same arrows... you probably got reflex-banned by the same mod.

I don't know for sure, it wasn't me and I wasn't there, but that's my guess.

I should probably leave it to whoever actually pulled the trigger to unban you, in case it's because of something else... (plus, I can't actually connect to the chat from here) [edit] OK never mind then [/edit]. But I will say that this shouldn't affect Desert Bus in any way... the two run on completely different chat systems, and each have their own banlist.

None of the mods here know anything about this ban. Also, DB uses IRC chat, not Twitch chat, so there's a completely separate system.

Edit: Scratch that. If you were the one with the arrows, that was me, as I thought it was the same person coming back under a different handle. What's your chat name? I'll get you unbanned.

Hi there, Frylock72 here. Someone suggested I post my LRL-related crafts in here, so I'm obliging. If I'm breaking a rule, forgive me.

It seems we have a mistaken double upload on the LRL YouTube channel.

Here we have the recently uploaded LRRMtG -- JOU Prerelease Sealed. And here we have the older LRRMtG -- JOU Sealed.

They're the same video, except the former is four seconds longer than the latter. Same broadcast date, same creepy Alex value, same kickass Communist Party T-shirt.
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who, when watching replays, tends to almost click on the links on the chat on the video.

Yep. When I watch streams of people playing EVE I try to pan the camera too. It's real bad.

Boo for copyright claims :(

However, thumbs up for the huge amount of videos uploaded recently though - much appreciated, LRR!

I like the idea of the new sub notifier, but it does look a little odd. I think it's because the blue part has a gradient, while the orange is flat. Maybe make the blue flat?

But I'm not graphic designer, so I dunno.

Ah, well, see previous note re: Me not being a graphics person. :B

Still, and I may be the only one who feels this way, there's something about the blue box that nags my eyes a bit.

And Cam's VODs. :(

There are also major changes to how VODs work in general: http://blog.twitch.tv/2014/08/update-changes-to-vods-on-twitch/

Most importantly, VODs will only be saved for a maximum of 60 days for partnered or Turbo users (14 for regular users), and in three weeks Twitch will begin removing existing VODs from its servers. Thankfully LRR are getting on top of uploading to youtube as it is.

Yeah... Uploading to YouTube, where the sound gets turned off by copyright trolls. :(

LoadingReadyRun: Can we get a torrent of all the streams to get around this? Otherwise, I have to figure out how to watch 5 months of streams in 3 weeks.

I too am very worried about the VODs, I hope there will be enough time to upload the whole library, I'm trying to watch as much as I can.
