Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Alex isn't actively streaming Dark Souls, AFAIK.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I'm having quite the opposite experience. It's very different watching each of them stream, especially since they're at such different points in the game and have rather different playstyles. Anyways, Alex is probably done streaming or close since he is essentially at the final boss, and I expect Graham will probably go to playing it off-stream in no more than two or so weeks.
When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.

I random thought I just had: Y'know what Alex should really play for a "Watch and Play"? Daikatana.

Hey guys, is there any way that one can track down one's payment history for a subscription? I wanna use that to figure out where I can find my original subscriber welcome.

Do you still have a confirmation email, perhaps? Or can you check your credit card/Paypal records?

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
OK, so I'd bought the last several Mario Kart games and decided I'd give the series a rest, since the games never seemed to add much individually and seemed to just be more of the same... particularly MKWii, which was pretty underwhelming, really. But MK8 looks pretty sweet, maybe I might pick it up after all...

Yeah, that stream makes me want a Wii U almost solely for Mario Kart 8 (and maybe Smash Bros. 4, when it comes out.)
Come to think of it, Smash Bros. (any of them) seems like it would make for an amazing Crossing the Streams game.

I really enjoyed Mario Kart on the Wii, hell I even enjoyed the tilt controls. Its possible that because I'm a PC gamer i don't have the ingrained expectations of controlling a racing game with an analogue stick?

If anything, I'd at least say that MK8 looks amazing. The tracks (so far) have been pretty fun too. An the fact you can basically customize your racing loadout without being dependent on racer too much is nice.

So Alex was talking about making Let's Nope a regular stream for Fridays.
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I think that would be the best idea.

Crossing the Streams with Mario is the most hilarious stream video you have made (barring Checkpoint since it is written to be funny) in my opinion.
Normally when I see a group of people enjoying the pains of multiplay, it makes me feel sad that I am not part of that group. But with you guys, I don't feel like isolated. And it friccing damn hilarious watching.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!?
That afternoon/evening was the most fun I've had vicariously watching someone else do something in...uh, well as far as I can remember.
ALSO, it had the benefit of cheering my mood while I was still beleaguered with a recalcitrant cold; I'd felt 'less sick' during and after that CtS than I had for almost two weeks!
I know I'd said it a buncha times, but it deserves to be said again:
THANK YOU, LRR, FOR ALL THIS FUN YOU GIVE ME. In this case, specifically, THANK YOU ALEX, GRAHAM, JAMES & PAUL FOR SUFFERING AND TRIUMPHING AND GENERALLY HAVING FUN AS WELL AS BEING ENTERTAINING!

It does make me wonder how the gang would do with either of the newer Rayman games (Origins or Legends) in multiplayer. Might not be as familiar as a Mario game, but still the same sort of fun on stream.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I think what makes a great crossing stream is:
Being able to see what everyone is doing on the same screen.
Chaotic unpredictable poop hitting the fans occasionally.
LRR crew actually enjoying themselves.
Prayer Warriors was effing damn hilarious. But watching co-mbative Mario was another level since it came across that you four sincerely were enjoying playing it.
And I really felt sorry when a crew member died because another crew member did something they weren't aware they were doing.
I'm only an hour in and I had to take a break from it so I wouldn't ruin it.

Pros:
The new Rayman games are friggin amazing.
The game isn't calculated to make you kill each other, like New Bros.
Con:
It's harder.

I think the accidents make it funnier.
I also liked when they were chasing Grabbit and all 3 ran into a gooma

I bet if they play from the start of the game, they won't reach the hard part before the end of the stream (at least with Origins). However, the games are made to actually have you work together, which might make it less entertaining than Mario.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I'm noticing a few gaps in the uploads of the stream recordings to YouTube...for example, the last part of the Metal Gear Rising GPLP isn't up there...parts 1 and 3 of Stark Souls are, but 2 is missing...
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Two things:
I preferred in the Youtube replays when there was a moment where the video went to splash screen before coming back. This felt a lot more fluid for the video to me. It also prevents problems like I had in the Goat Simulator playthrough where I was watching and Craig suddenly turned into Alex. I was honestly confused for a few minutes.
Speaking of Goat Simulator, that brings me to my second point... apparently, Goat Sim added in a new map and local multiplayer. Maybe it's time to revisit Goat Sim please maybe thank you?

I would love a list of missing episodes, if you notice them... I'm not sure how we've missed them
