I like the Karate Kid one the best because it has the mat hitting sounds.

Also, anyone know how much is left in this game? It was really funny how most of the stuff could be reduced to quick time events, and then the actual quick time events get you killed, at first. Now its really starting to wear on me how badly the game doesnt work.

I haven't played it myself, but I from what I understand he just beat the second of three campaigns. I'd assume they're all about the same length.

I understand Ada's campaign to be much shorter. It's more of a bonus.

I hope that the playable version of Ada has a "fuck off" button that lets her grapple away whenever she wants.

Yeah, I would assume a campaign consisting entirely of "set up everything for the player before anything bad gets there, then fire a grappling hook in some vague upward direction" would be much shorter than "slog through way too many bioengineered war machines and experiments only to get to the next part where you slog through more of the same, oh and here's a driving minigame".

All I'll say about Sherry and Jake's campaign is, when the motorbike section comes up, USE THE BRAKE. I found this out the hard way. XD

I found Ada's campaign a bit of a challenge. Especially the first area its very hard to navigate.

I can only hope Graham picks Jake in the next House of Stark and melee's everything all day. I haven't played RE6 in a long time but I remember Jake having the unique ability to fight without a weapon.

He does indeed have fists as one of his weapons. I have never played Ada's campaign myself, but the guy I've played co-op with described it as impossible.

Just my two cents but I'd love to see Graham continue with a slightly off the wall game like Bulletstorm or Blood Dragon.

I'd be interested to see him try Dark Souls like he was talking about during Book of Passwords.

I really love Dark Souls, but without the aid of a FAQ or the coaching of someone who's played it, it might not be that fun to watch. The learning curve is steep enough to be confused for a wall.

EDIT: And now I want to go play Dark Souls again. So that's good.

I doubt the whole thing would be suited to streaming, it's true, but I think it could be interesting for a week or two at least. Mainly I just enjoy seeing the thought process of someone playing the game for the first time.

And he'll have the chat there to tell him not to try getting past the ghosts in New Londo right off the bat. If I'd had that, it would've saved me an hour or two.

Personally, I'd like him to play a game that doesn't make him go 'What the FUCK?!?" when providing QTE-ish tips for a particular segment (that 'alternating shoulder buttons to simulate CLIMBING' shit from RE-MFG actually gave me a sharp pain in my head...right along with objective:"Figure out the puzzle." ... No, REALLY? )

Part of me wants him to play a game that I know he'll enjoy, like SR4, but he HAS said he wants to keep breaking new ground, so...maybe Bulletstorm?

So RE4 (the good one) just got an HD rerelease on Steam…

How does that grab you?
I assure you it won't take nearly as long as RE6

I would love to watch you play through RE4, Graham. Though I don't think anyone would blame you if you took a week off to play something else before getting back to kicking people with weird tentacle things where their heads should be.

Graham, you suffer through so many terrible games for our enjoyment that I'd really like to see you play something you actually like. RE4 seems like a good choice.

It would be interesting to see a good RE game as a contrast to RE6. I do however still want to play RE4 myself, so I might have to skip the replays on this one.

I agree with Prospero nonetheless: You deserve to play a good game for a while.

I concur. Can't subject yourself to completely terrible games just for amusement. There's something to be said for us enjoying a stream where YOU are enjoying the game being played.

So true. Now, to be fair, Graham has said that he enjoys RE6 in spite of the fact that it's terrible. He certainly seems to be having fun with it.

I'd love to see a play through of RE4 on stream. If I recall correctly, that's the one that takes place in the lovely country of NotSpain.

I believe Graham mentioned that Resident Evil: Revelations was a good game. It's also 75% off on Steam right now for those wanting to wash their mouth of RE6 a bit more.

So I was watching the part in the most recent episode with Simmons raving about Ada in the "Secret Information" and, because my brain works this way, I was like, "Wait, I've heard this voice actor before. But where?"

Turns out he was also the voice of the main bad guy in the original Disgaea.

Graham,

If you're still looking for something to play next, I'd recommend Vanquish. The plot is complete nonsense, but the gameplay is top notch and the entire campaign can be finished in about 3-4 hours. It's the polar opposite of RE6; short, well designed, and a blast from start to finish.

I'd also highly recommend Outland, especially if you like Metroidvania games. Think of it as a bizarre combination of Journey, Ikaruga, and Symphony of The Night (albeit with less RPG elements). I think it may be a PSN exclusive, but it might have gotten a Steam release since I played it last.
