Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
There are some highlights which are hard to include due to time skips lengths - such as Alex's 100 deaths in S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the build up to it, The subscriber spam of 'Catswhowearhats' and variations thereupon...The subscriber amarageddon from a couple weeks ago. Could they be done as montages?
Have added any short highlights in there though.

Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
I added the shirtless stream as a whole, and Katleen's commercials are there "in bulk" too.
Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
Moments like that aren't "moments", and aren't what we're looking for, for this purpose.
So, don't include them, I guess?

Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
Oops, sorry about that.
Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
Oh no, no worries.
I was actually talking to SohNata, my bad for not clarifying.
What I mean is, for a trailer we need distinct moments, and while ongoing things like SohNata suggested make the streams entertaining, they don't work in a trailer.
A shot of the shirtless stream, like you suggested, totally gets in.

I realize that this happened before LRL was technically a thing, but that time you guys got Phage the Untouchable in Momir and didn't lose thanks to Platinum Angel was pretty great.
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

I AGREE! (Admittedly with the greedy ulterior motive of the fact that I was the victim. Cough cough.)

Alex's "I'm a fairy princess!" needs to go in there!

From Book of Passwords - Metal Slug
My reaction: TEN DOLLARS? YOU LUCKY ****S.
Jer: Are we using the uh, the movie scale for - for - for value here?
Alex: What's that?
Jer: Well, where you're like — a movie costs ten…
Alex: Woo-boy!
Jer (cont.): A movie costs ten dollars.
Alex: Seriously? I never thought about that.
Jer: Going to a movie costs ten dollars, right?
Alex: Yeah. Sh–
[pause for respawn]
Jer: We've talked about this a little bit on Book of Passwords before, about like the – the sort of weird time like entertainment time to value proposition…
Alex (on fire): Wuhh-uh.
Jer: That people pretend to [unintelligible]
Alex: Okay, I see what you mean.
My reaction: TEN DOLLARS? YOU LUCKY ****S.
I sure enjoy watching LRR!
I wouldn't want to meet them though. I'm very allergic to cats and fun.

Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
I doubt movie tickets are still $10 for them (on my end of the country, a general ticket is $12), but it works as a rough estimation of value (see Fermi Estimation, where you round everything to the nearest order of magnitude).
To their actual point though (I missed Book of Passwords, but have discussed the idea elsewhere), the general thought of the Entertainment Industry for a number of years was that people will pay roughly $5 per hour of entertainment. So a standard 2-hour movie is $10, and a $50 game should provide around 10 hours gameplay (with FPS-style games, multiplayer was designated to pick up a lot of the slack). Today, $6-$8/hour is probably more accurate, but the principle is the same (though on the other hand, books have dropped in price if anything - proving once again that they are one of the best value propositions).

Actually, my local theatre (part of a big chain) was $10+tax up until really recently. Pretty sure it was that even when I saw Captain America 2, though according to their site it's up to $10.75 now.

Re: LRL memorable moments discussion & catalog
I suggest a trailer in the style of large word on the screen, followed by a clip that illustrates it. Possibly ending with the name of every channel and a clip from each. For instance:
LOVE: Number 64 or 66 in the spreadheet
HATE: Number 2
PEACE: Number 50
WAR: Number 27
JOY: Number 85
TILT: Number 19
MADNESS: Number 30
SPOOP: Number 24
SCIENCE: Number 10
CHICKENS: Number 15
SILVERFISH: Number 37
CYBERSHARKS: Number 78
KATHLEEN SAVES THE WORLD: Number 8
HOUSE OF STARKS: Number 75
GPLP: Number 13
BOOK OF PASSWORDS: Number 86
IDDQDERP: Number 4
A SWIFTLY TILTING CAMERON: Number 7
BEEJ'S BACKLOG: Number 20
THINGS ON MY STREAM: Number 87
And then finish the trailer with the RE6 two drunks fighting GIF.

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then wouldn't hurt.
