The right place is to email it to [email protected], or send a Steam gift to the LRL Steam account.

Those "pontoons" in Revelations 2012 actually are a real thing - sort of. They almost certainly meant "baktun" (pronounced BAK-toon), a Mayan unit of time.
If you're curious, a baktun is 144,000 days, about 4 centuries.

So now you know.

I know that stream was over a year ago. I'm new to LRR and I'm watching through the Watch+Play archives.

The review Alex gave the Quivering has disappeared from the Steam page. Did Alex delete it?

Nope. The publishers did, along with many other negative ones, to try to get the ratings up.

Last night's Watch And Play was pretty awesome. The first couple games were neat, but it would have been hard to brute force 3 hours out of them. But once it just became 'random stuff: the streamening' things kind of took off.

Also, seeing Alex and Beej experience Mario Cars 2 64 while in that really weird, goofy spot at the end was pretty entertaining. Just watching them notice the twist at the end when Alex seemed sure it was going to go horror on them (though, honestly, that would have been a really cool twist as well).

Though I didn't stick around to watch the entire thing, I would love to see more occasional 'random stuff: the streamening' streams.

I was going to submit 'i made this. you play this. we are enemies' through the usual method (and I had play-tested it to be sure it didn't do anything untoward), but I'd only found it the previous night and when a W+P sprung up and they ran out of scheduled games super-early, I was like, okay, fine, screw the usual method, might as well just suggest it in the chat so they have something.

Apparently, looking some more, that was supposed to be an 'art' game commenting on various popular websites and the level design was based on the way your eyes move across the screen on those websites, and you get sent back to start as a metaphor for refreshing the page. Apparently.

Was it just a fluke that they happened to play that art game in the same week that Christopher Lee passed away? What an experience that was....

So, apparently it was a remake (re-imagining) of a 1984 ZX Spectrum Game according to wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_Ex_Machina_%28video_game%29

Was also apparently lised in "1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die"

That at least explains Jon Pertwee's picture in the credits.

I feel like that game could've been incredibly good if it wasn't so incredibly bad. I love the idea of it and its surrealism. If only the execution wasn't so utterly confused and horrifying and the gameplay so awful.

Yeah, it's definitely an experience.

It looks like the Spud stream has been scrubbed from the internet, is that on purpose?

No. It's gone off the timeline from Twitch's end and they haven't yet uploaded it to the YouTube channel. They've been busy.

If they haven't uploaded it, what are all those Private Videos in the stream playlist? Also, why are there so many Private Videos in the stream playlists?

Because they have a script to upload the videos and automatically add them to the playlist (and presumably other housekeeping), and then they review the videos on YouTube after it finishes processing before making them public.

Why YouTube shows private videos in playlists at all? Who knows.

The VideoStrikeTeam ran into the same issue during Desert Bus, so we split it into a two-part process to handle uploading and adding to a playlist (automated video uploading was driven off a spreadsheet, so we just added another Status value).

The Charity Shop Joke Book Challenge is an amazing concept that needs to be applied to more things containing terrible humour.

Wow, that commercial break comeback. If there's a global nuclear holocaust I hope LRR live streams it. Unlikely, I guess, but I just know the moment before the signal dies forever Alex would accidentally say something that makes everyone laugh.

Wasn't able to mention it last night, but part of the profits of Super 3-D Noah's Ark is helping fund development of ECWolf, for those interested.

Glad you guys enjoyed Realms of The Haunting! Didn't catch it live, but it was great to see after a hard weekend day at work today. The game just keeps getting weirder.

Was really intrigued to see Realms of the Haunting crop up. I remember seeing this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLx6 ... FaMufhSUEw) about it, which makes it sound like quite an interesting game with it's flaws, but couldn't be faulted for ambition in 1996.

I think we mentioned RotH before as something Alex might liek to check out. I still recall it after all this time. Cool thing about it is that the 'auto-solve' for puzzles is on by default, so if you have the item and click on the area it simply places it.
