Magnum is hired to investigate when someone tries to blackmail his friend Agatha. Graham talks extensively about interesting cinematography and the career of Ted Danson.

This weeks podcast, bought to you by Graham, Kathleen and Baxter. Baxter is clearly the star of the show.

This was an episode. I did not see the twist coming....but boy did Steward make me uneasy from the moment you see him. Though how he died was pretty gruesome as far as Magnum deaths have been so far. I did not think this episode was very good....just some really weird choices in writing and filming.

Once again though, no turn to the camera...that's two weeks in a row, maybe they have decided to stop that?

"The rabbit has died" is a euphemism for saying someone has gotten pregnant.

It was interesting to see that even this far back in the '80s, Ted Danson was still combing over his bald spot on the crown of his head.

I remember my Dad coming home with a Beta VCR around 1980, and we ended up renting a bunch of crappy movies from the local store and binge-watched them all in amazement (Lazerblast, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Flesh Gordon, and Kentucky Fried Movie stand out in my memory of that first weekend). Not all of them kid appropriate, but it was so new and amazing we didn't really care or notice.

Sadly, Beta was a dead-end technology, but man, the ability to record tv shows and watch when we wanted was transformative.

The rabbit test is where to test for pregnancy doctors would inject a rabbit with a woman's urine and then check the rabbits uterus for changes. I'm not sure why "the rabbit died" became the euphemism for "I'm pregnant" but there you have it.

Fun fact: it was used in an Aerosmith song. Which one has slipped my mind at the moment.

There was a rabbit pregnancy test in an episode of MASH. In that one, the rabbit is a pet of Radar so the gang has to preform a surgery on the rabbit to keep it alive.

No idea, but it was extremely adorable that neither of you knew what it was.

I just want to point out that Nicolas Cage has an Oscar and has gotten progressively worse ever since. "NOT THE BEES!!!!!"

I didn't know about the rabbit thing, but that's not surprising.

Surprised that Kathleen didn't know Nimoy directed 3M&AB.

"That was one of our cats. Thank you for listening." :D

The song was Sweet Emotion. "You can't catch me 'cause the rabbit done died."
