Someone is after Robin Masters' latest novel, and Magnum must protect the precious manuscript. Kathleen wonders how the definition of "bitch" might have changed in the past 35 years.

I actually watched this episode after listening to the podcast, and I have to agree!

One scene I thought was funny was when Magnum and Digger rescues Higgins
Higgins commands Zeus and Apollo to kill Magnum and Magnum calls it a "reflex action."

Great episode and great podcast!

This episode was absolutely a Bond movie, specifically Goldeneye right the hero and heroine descending a mountain-sized antenna in jungle camouflage. I kept expecting Xenia Onatopp to rappel from a helicopter and attack them. This was probably my favorite episode so far, but it was badly marred for me by how unlikable Digger was. That crack about WW2 veterans wasn't no-nonsense competence, it was deliberately and needlessly cruel and actively detrimental to the job she was supposed to be doing. I get not sugar coating things when someone screws up, but saying what amounted to "this security system is as worthless as your service in WW2" really is beyond the pale.

I felt this episode was one of the strongest of the season. It did a nice job of involving the supporting cast to a good degree and had a nice end to it. The only thing I didn't like is as ApatheticDespot said, Digger seemed unnecessarily unlikable at times.

Unrelated to this episode but related to Magnum, I have come to love this show (and podcast respectively) and found my self hunting on Ebay and found this gem. Yes is is a genuine Paradise Found shirt.

Kathleen said early on that she couldn't imagine dictating a novel. Terry Pratchett had to dictate his later novels, either to his assistant or to speech recognition software on his computer. Alzheimer's, man.

So I looked up images (and a video!) of the Ha'iku Ladder/Stairs.

Aaaand now I want to visit Hawaii. :< Not to make the hike, but just cause it looks so gorgeous in general. If only I wasn't poor...

Great episode as usual, guys! :D

I had the biggest crush on Erin Grey when she was on Buck Rogers. Good to see her in a guest role here.
