Shows I'm especially liking this season... Like I jump at the chance to watch these the instant I can.

-Isekai Shokudou or Restaurant to Another World
-New Game Season 2
-Clione no Akari or Lights of the Clione (still evaluating ... am expecting the "drop" next episode and for the tone to shift a lot)
-Made In Abyss
-Sakura Quest
-The Reflection Wave One
-Knight's & Magic (think Ian should check this out. Also Hodor... Magic and Mechs and burgeoning political intrigue seems like it's a perfect middle ground)

Everything else I'm interested in but not really excited to watch the instant a new ep is available.

-Boku no Hero Academia 2
-Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou
-Nana Maru San Batsu
-Gamers!
-Konbini Kareshi
-Action Heroine Cheer Fruits
-18if
-Hina Logi ~from Luck & Logic~
-Centaur no Nayami

Interested but haven't seen yet.

-Tenshi no 3P!
-Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu
-Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni
-Princess Principal

I watched some of Little Witch Academia. Enough to see that it's still the only thing Trigger does that appeals to me. Waiting for the rest to become available on Netflix to finish it.

I wish I could figure out what makes Little Witch Academia so different from the rest of Trigger's work which makes it something I like... where as everything else they've done just doesn't work for me.

As an Example... Kill La Kill. The only part of that show I liked was the first minute or so of the first Episode. When she's traveling through the town. it has a very Kino's Journey kind of feel which I was liking a lot. Then she gets to the school and everything goes to shit. Tone I liked ... gone. Stupid looking fighting. Way over acted exaggerated characters... Just everything about the whole rest of that episode I hated. I did not watch any other episodes as I could not imagine it possibly redeeming itself.

I haven't fully explored what I might watch, but I'm definitely set on more Sakura Quest, and New Game S2.

I tried watching A Centaur's Life, as my taste in those shows seems to mirror Beej's somewhat. I couldn't get through the second episode. I just couldn't stand the whole world view it presents. Spoilers are here for people who would prefer to skip my political views. From the first episode, during the teacher's lecture, she says “equality is more important than civil rights or life itself”. What does that even mean?! How can you claim equality is more important than civil rights, when civil rights are what actually help give people equality in society? If this were just from the lecture, I might have been able to overlook it, but no, it permeated the rest of the episode, and the first half of the second. All I got was the feeling that this is what MRAs must think the logical extension of "PC" culture is.

I'm watching Restaurant to Another World, and I will probably keep up with it, though not for the food. The food is the least interesting part of the show; there are only so many ways to show that absolutely everything the chef makes is masterful. I really like the glimpses into the lives of each customer, and that world as a whole.

I'm probably going to go back and continue Alice and Zoroku, since it sounds like there isn't the proverbial other shoe to drop.

I also just finished my rewatch of The Eccentric Family, so I'm going to head right into S2.

I was listening to this today, and your description of Keppeki Danish! Aoyama-kun made me think of this commercial:

It's a milk commercial. Extra protein, I guess.
