Well played, good sirs.

I was just thinking about upcoming games, so I was obviously picking up some vibes over the frequency of awesome. If this one doesn't hit the internet like a fuckton of bricks, I'll eat my shoe*.

Also, Yahtzee's ours. OURS, I tell ye.. Australian† talent is the next natural resource we're selling to the Chinese, so we can't just let him be pilfered by you Yankees and Canucks!

*no, not really
let's just forget he's British... yeah? I am too, so I'm not a hypocrite tosser

Very nice. The used games thing was very clever.

I have to ask

Is any one else sick of the videos being hosted on youtube?
I cant stand watching them this way.

Other than the YouTube logo, I like them being hosted there. For one, it means I can watch on my phone at work. Second, I have a giant HD tv hooked up to my PC, so the HQ button at full screen makes the videos look great. Third, another source of income for LRR? Who can complain about that?

I laughed all the way through. At least we know who could replace Sir David Attenbrough when he retires. Nice job.

It was nice to see the focus shift back to video games. I agree with pretty much everything that's been said- great writing, great acting, holy shit Yahtzee.
Well, hallo there.

Yeah, I have to agree with pretty much everyone else, laughed a bit, the writing and acting was excellent, and spent the video trying to work out whose voice it was because it didn't sound like anyone from LRR, and then the little imp popped up at the end. WOW.

Kuddo's to all of you fine sirs, you've outdone yourself yet again. How hard was it to get Yatzee to do the voiceovers?

Why does everyone always use metric tonnes to emphasise things? A long ton is bigger.

Fullyramblomatic forums have the link now. (And the escapist already did, so I couldn't be the one to post the link there).
Brace yourselves for potential yahtzee fanboys flood.

Oh heavens, I laughed so hard at the graph on the board. Definitely my favorite moment.

Otherwise, allow me to simply echo the sentiments of everyone else. Well done, good sirs!

Wow! I honestly did not expect Yahtzee doing the narration. I mean, you could have fooled me with a very good accent, but wow!

Kudos :D

I think my favorite part was Paul's disgust at the stickers on the used game. I'm in total agreement there.

Also: DUGG! But it might be helpful if you could put a Digg button on the page with the video itself, like maybe under the Discuss button. I'm guessing there are plenty of people who watch the videos without reading the related threads, and they could help Digg you up too.

Wow, I'm a fan of Yahtzee and I didn't recognize the voice at all until the credits.

Nice work

Its to make it distinct from the American usage of a "ton", which I believe is slightly smaller than a Metric Ton. Probably a primarily Canadian thing due to our proximity to the states.

Also, awesome video.

I do not know what you are talking about. I love watching videos on YouTube, and so should you. Drink the Kool-Aid...

Nah, but seriously, if it helps other people find their way to watching LRR who wouldn't have found it otherwise, I'm cool with it.

As for the video, it was just a crazy coincidence that I watched the video for Homo Mortuus right before, so it was nice to see how far we've come in terms of video quality.

AMAZING! This needs to be sent over to Joystiq.

Yahtzee pulls off a very convincing nature doc voice. I didn't even realize it was him until I noticed that it wasn't any of your voices and looked down at the credits. I have to ask though, how'd you guys work out the voice overs? Was he in town for PAX or did you do it long distance from Aussie-land?

Tally could give a couple of my professors a run for their money in terms of sounding professor-y. Maybe it was the use of figures.

That's also one wicked knife Paul is wielding in the field tagging scene.

What a hilarious video...definitely one of your better ones.

The whole time I was watching it, I was thinking "man, Graham has really gotten his accent down" and then bam...Yahtzee.
As someone posted earlier, it just makes it that much better, like the ending to Fight Club :D

Working with Yahtzee seams to become a tradition for LLR also on your unskippable... also i love Paul’s hat... is that its debut on LLR? I don’t remember seeing it before

Also the “an ass ton” on the board behind Tally, I actually think that she is the only competition to Paul in wearing the lab coat, they should have a Lab Fight !!!

Another brilliant, bizarre video. I totally knew who the guest was, if only because he updated his website saturday night saying about it...

And also, I have decided Tally is the under-appreciated Awesomeness of the crew. Great job all, I found the props hilarious.

I know a lot of people already mentioned that they didn't realize it was Yahtzee 'till the credits, but I was even further off thinking that "Narration by Yahtzee Crowshaw" was a joke in itself. I really, really thought it was Graham.

ThrashJazzAssassin wrote:Why does everyone always use metric tonnes to emphasise things? A long ton is bigger.

I think its just the extra adjective subjectively adds emphasis, even though in this case its less than a "plain" ton.

Another great video. I'm always entertained, but you guys have really been hitting on all cylinders since the last ep of cHustle. I wonder if you were all getting a little distracted/burned out. Of course, that's likely complete and utter trash speculation, but what's the Internet for?

At least it seems like the PAX-less amongst us very likely know who their mystery guest was at the panel!

watshisname08 wrote:This video is a shining example of why Jer is statistically the best writer (I forgot where that thread is, but they did do a statistical analysis of LRR videos).

I'll necro that thread, but as one of the crew members pointed out, upon further analysis, it wasn't necessarily Jer's writing that garners views so much as the fact that Jer tends to write topical scripts. That said, it's not like it's easy to write a topical script so Jer still has considerable writing talent. ::waves at Jer::
