OH SNAP!

I forwarded the link to this video to a scenester snob friend of mine that sent out a mass email to try and get a bunch of us to come down and see this awesome local band out of Austin.

His reply to me:
You know...one could argue that 'Funeral' is The Arcade Fire's sophomore album, and it's awesome by all accounts...And btw, I don't know if anyone needs a lecture on not talking down to others about music from a guy who's filming himself talk down about others who talk down to people about music and with his action figures "accidentally" included in the background...

Wow, somebody totally didn't get the joke, huh?

I should have made it more obvious with my original opening line: "I don't think I'm better than other people, except people who think they're better than other people." See the humour?

Although, where does that guy get off thinking he's better than me because I have action figures?
Those are FF: Advent Children figs, and they're kickass.

The more reactions to this video I hear, the more I'm inclined to the hypothesis of, if someone gets pissed off by it, the video is probably about them.

...maybe this was why I sent him the link?

PS to Aaron: I fully expect you to show yourself around here before the day is over...so I will give a pre-emptive "WELCOME...douchebag!" :P

A little history on the guy I sent this to: we went to college together, and were in a local band together. We probably *were* good enough to not be local, but we never had our chance to make our break, and after we all graduated, all went our own ways.

To me the hero will always be Sephiroth. Aerith seriously had to die.

I don't get it?

And I know I'm probably a wee bit late (actually, checking other posts, not that late  ) But I just watched this, and man, it blew my mind! I completely agree with everythign said there and, unlike most people, rants are one of my favorite types of humor...strange, huh?

Btw: Nice Vincent Valentine Figurine in the background! Best FF VII Character in my book *does a jig*

Obscurity++.

Slick Rick: "Dude you are my hero..."
Pjotr: "To me the hero will always be Sephiroth."
Me: *posts a picture of Heero, from the Gundam Wing series*

l0lz.

And, even though it goes against EVERY FIBRE of my character...I will appease miako with a link. NSFAnyone.

I was only joking! Although I can't say I'm not pleased...

Loading ready run the only place that I've seen that I can have a small lesson on booby physics, and get some gundam shonen-ai the next day.

Clearing up stuff: Yes, I am male, and yes, I do like the guys. Although girls are awesome too. I want to date a guy who'll enjoy lesbian porn with me. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25255603/ is a link to one of my shonen ai pieces. Sure, its NSFAny straight males, but I like they are characters that really love eachother, not random uncanon slashing.
