Good stuff guys :) I enjoyed this one. Paul was awesome and totally perfect for that role. Matt was spot on as usual for the anchor and Jer and Kathleen were solid. Well edited too.

Also, did the Mayans have curry?

I'm also wondering what the deal was with my sub going crazy as bradleyrains said. I'm assuming it coincided with Lord Crusher hastily leaving the premises after looking through the telescope but I wasn't clear on what it actually meant.

Loved the constantly changing subtitles with terrible puns that A9 is so good at. Also, I failed to find Kathleen's hair convincing, but that just added to the hilarity for me. Good back and forth duologue; pretty sure this video will warrant a few more views to eek all the goodness out of it.

I loved the references (Sergeant Furface and ArMEGAddon) and the captions (especially the Bruce Willis bit).

I also loved it when Chrusher starts flipping out in the background and runs off. Got a great laugh out of me.

And, Kathleen, you look . . . odd as a blonde. Was there a reason for the wig, or was it just a "why the hell not" decision? It got a laugh out of me, at the very least.

Kathleen's Hair made me laugh. Paul's Hat made me laugh. Paul giving Matt wonderful astrology news made me laugh. Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I couldn't stop giggling all the way through. Bravo!

It feels like EVERY year is the International Year of Astronomy, seriously. Or maybe the International Year of Physics? They just alternate years. There's no International Year of Artificial Intelligence... but there will be... OH THERE WILL BE. WHEN THE ROBOTS COME, YOU WILL ALL PAY!

Unfortunately the robots won't come until after 2012, so it doesn't matter anyway.

The wig freaked me out on AAAL, but somehow it doesn't bother me here.

Good vid. One thing I love about the older videos is the little references to other videos. Nice to see some more.

Eh, this video bothered me. Especially Kathleen's list of all the ways we can all die. It wasn't badly done, it's just that this stuff really upsets me.

Matt's face at the end was golden.

I thought the wig was convincing though. I questioned it being Kathleen until she spoke.

Nice video overall.

the chance that you could get hit by a car while riding a bike should bother you. the chance that earth will be wiped out of existence by a meteor really shouldn't.

I'm fine with myself dying, it's just that the thought of all of humanity's progress being wiped out in an instant deeply disturbs me. I don't think that the world will end in 2012 at all, but just the discussion of it makes me feel weird.

It's just me being weird, though.

As a person who's not in a position to affect any sort of significant change, I don't see why worrying about the end of the Earth should extend beyond worrying about yourself dying.

In any case, pretty funny video. I liked Paul's quick delivery with his lines.

Possibly I am just tired, but I didn't find this to be a very funny video. The timing seemed awkward, and the jokes sparce. I think the only things I liked about it were Paul's delivery and Kathleen's background.

I too loved Matt's O_0 face at the end there, and for some reason the name "Pollux Procyon" just makes me laugh out loud.

Also, I'm assuming Jer's the same character from Armegaddon. Good to be able to put a name to the character :)

Are white coats a typical use for astronomers? I'm genuinly curious.

An astronomer is a scientist, thusly in the world of LRR they must wear a lab coat.

Were Jer and Matt filmed separately? It looked a bit weird a few times.

That was totally awesome! It was hilarious and very well done. Best script ever, too!
Props to Matt for mastering the slightly-off news anchor role. :D
