"It only happened this morning, but I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was working on a case. It had to be a case, because I couldn't afford a desk. Then I saw her. This tall blond dame. She must have been tall because I was on the third floor. She had this beautiful blonde hair, all the way down her back. None on her head, but al the way down her back. She walked in my door, and rolled her deep blue eyes at me from across the room. I picked them up and rolled them back. We kissed. She screamed. I took the cigarette from my mouth and kissed her again."

Bradley Rains composed and performed the music, so you'll need to talk to him about it. His forum account is bradleyrains.

That "Jimmy the lock" bit had me in stitches.

Excellent video for those of us who had experience the original.

Wasn't great for introducing my college anime club to LRR (for what it's worth, they loved How to Talk Like a Pirate, Rejected Wiiplay games, and most of all Omni-Lingual).

Upon second viewing we're I could appreciate the finer points of it more, I too must state the awesomeness of the music. The music was awesome.

Hoooolly sheeeeeet! O_o Can Kathleen be my wife now?!? She was hotter than a hot-cross bun on a really cold day. Or maybe that bun is in Antarctica. Yeah. She's smokin' hot. That was seriously the best performance I've ever seen out of her. :D :D :D

No, but seriously. I was smiling and laughing the whole way through. Best LRR video ever. Well done!

YouTube is really slow for me for some reason so I can't watch the original (and it took almost 20 minutes to download the new one). I loved it. Is everyone watching the HD version? Maybe the blockiness is coming from the SD version?

You could tell it was a Graham script and I loved it. The acting was great, too. Have people asked about the music or did I miss it? It was perfect and I love that you seem to be getting great music when it's appropriate to the video. A+ guys.

Why of why couldn't Tim be Jimmy? Get him in the first video for his first full season as Crew!

Can we expect a cHustle in a few weeks? With the eNN work now added to the schedule, are the production and writing dynamics for cHustle going to change?

Wow. That was just... wow. And Kathleen was... wow. WOWZA. I have to say Jer and Kathleen pulled off their characters fantastically, and Graham's writing... oh the similes! They had me chuckling like a six year old high on laughing gas.

That was seriously... spectacular. That filter, or filming technique, or whatever it was, was absolutely phenomenal. Two parts hotel dusk, one part Maltese Falcon. New goal in life: to be in one of LRR's film noir pieces. I want to see what I look like in sharp relief black and white. It made everyone look so... dramatic! So... I don't know. Really cool, guys.

Great video.

Isn't the "Locked, of course. I'd have to jimmy the door." line from Max Payne? It really rang a bell for me.

Ah, I rather enjoyed the original. Nice to see it's return.

The original's usage of stills lent it a graphic-novel feel, which doesn't quite come across when movement's involved. The ultra-contrast monochrome is a very nice effect, though. (In some close-ups I found my eyes transfixed on the pattern of the hat as graham moved.)

All in all, I approve.

I can't believe it. It's been sooooo long since the other one was made.
This is a fantastic start to the season guys.

Not at all what I expected, but completely awesome.

Funny story: When Paul was on screen, my first thought was "that beard looks aaaaaaalmost fake. But that's just silly, because Paul has... oh. Right."

THAT'S HOW WELL IT FOOLED ME.

And there are some utterly CLASSIC lines in here. A great first season opener for me!

Ohh scanning it in high resolution certainly helped here. Only that way you were able to keep the texture of the hat from dissolving into a mushy grey.

Loved It! The metaphors were great, I love how they slowly degraded in quality from Tex Murphy down to Zapp Brannigan.

Very nice work Kathleen, you pull off the Femme Fatale very well. Almost too well actually, take care not to get headhunted by one of them fancy-pants studios down south.

Overall, awesome video. I'm very much enjoying the LRR gritty metaphors.

There were a few too many "strained/confusing detective metaphor" jokes for my liking, and the contrast between black and white was waaaay too much.

But I love noir and I love jokes and so I love jokes about noir.

I was somewhat enjoying this video, thinking the new camera effect was pretty cool, but that the story was a touch bland, until..."the accident". Then I couldn't stop laughing. Wonderful, thank you.
