Halloween Safety

Postby Paul » 28 Oct 2005, 17:21

Now, you may be thinking that this video did not really go in the direction you thought it would. To tell you the truth, we were a little surprised too.

After we shot this video, I got sent this WorkSafe BC notice. It made us laugh.

I don't usually issue a throat rattling laugh when watching, but I did this week. The ending was pretty over the top. I'm gonna switch on the Kanye now.

What? Halloween unsafe/unhealthy? No it can not be that. Not with the explosives, the running around in the dark in dark clothing, all the free candy the drinking ...
Well I am off to cause some drunken chaos.

Man...I was watching that, and thinking, "Man, Graham is a dick in this one."
That was pretty funny though, with the 'candy zombies" and all ^_^
"I swear it," said the other mother. "I swear it on my own mother's grave."

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

Ya, definetly didn't end how I expected. It was good though. The music at the end really added to the effect. Run! Not the trick-or-treater!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!

P.S. I second Kathleen's comments.

Top work there! I was actually mildly scared. Thank you for not turning it into one of those godawful *suspence suspence BLAHZOMBIEFACE* things.

I just love the way that the acting was done through facial expressions. Like in those old BBC children's programs with the puppets and the narrater doing all the talking.

EDIT: Oh, and by the way contacts have a habit of damaging some people's eyes as the eyes can deform to match the contacts... though this is rare and only really happens after being worn for quite some years.

My eyes have done that...although they aren't *damaged* persay. My prescrtiption shifted a little bit as a result of the moulding, but that's really about it...

*sits back down and waits patiently for lasik to finally get good enough to fix his horrible, horrible eyes*

On non Halloween days I suppose.

Maybe the other 20% were during the making of YipeIII, I mean they had to make all that pumpkin pie didn't they?

Ah I miss Yipe III.

www.yipesoftware.com sums it up quite well. Ok that has the games, for Mac Classic (OS9 or before) and I have no idea with Microsoft Windows.

You could buy a pumpkin pie to restore you for 25 health. Man you eat so much pumpkin pie.
