He was probably chasing the TIE fighter that was shooting at the bus.

Hey everyone! I was bored before and decided to make a wallpaper!

Here's a link: http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/9648/tusconpic3withlogo.png
Also, the area on the bottom is extra black space to accommodate for the user bar. Just open paint or the Mac equivalent and cut it out to suit your needs. Have fun!

1: In all previous shots of Andy form the front while driving, there is a grey block covering up his hands and the wheel. I assume its supposed to emulate the dash and make it less obvious of what he is doing to pretend driving. However, during the shot that starts at 1:58 the grey block is gone.

2: The dials on the dash. Since when did they keep the odometer and speedometer there? And wouldn't the odometer display how many miles between Tuscon and Vegas minus 300. Google maps is telling me 413 miles. So 113.

Both those questions can be answered with this; 'It's MAGIC!'

On a more serious note... Why so serious everybody? It's an awsome video, I adore the singing and I adore the rhythm. Just because your on the net you still should act like Humans and have a sense of decency(BTW dude) I'm not attacking you, just the people in general, this is a fantastic site which provides fantastic videos. Sure they are no big budget Hollywood movie but they are still great.
Personally, I was just pointing out some goofs in the event they wanted to rectify it for re-uploading or DVD purposes. We aren't being mean-spirited.

It's like this. You friend writes an awesome paper for a class and he lets you read it. However, he makes a few punctuation errors. Do you just not tell him? No, because then he looses points. Do you yell at him and be mean spirited and tell him he sucks? NO, that would be wrong and terrible. Do you casually point out the mistakes so he can fix them? Yes.

Did we just not tell them? Obviously not. Did we yell at him and be mean spirited and tell hthem they suck? NO. Did we casually point out the mistakes so they could fix them? Yes.

The difference being that if you are proof-reading a paper for a friend, he can still and probably will expect to make some changes, whereas with an LRR video, unless it's something fairly major (like the audio falling out of sync) they probably aren't going to bother fixing it.

Occasionally I'll tweak things when I'm exporting for the DVD version, but I'm not going to lie, that depends largely on two things:

1) If I have time
2) If I care enough

Regarding those things: The dashboard disappearing in one shot was a legit goof, and I'd fix it if I had time. The odometer, I totally don't care.
Thanks though!

Huh. If you hadn't said that, I would've never thought that to be a goof. I saw as a "It's blatantly obvious he's just holding onto something and feigning steering, so we might as well just show it" type of gag.

It should be noted that the "odometer" actually says "MILES TO GO", so it IS ACTUALLY COUNTING DOWN.

I know it might be too late but did anyone ever explain why they put in Teller's discount lunches?

Teller has bought them lunch during Desert Bus for all three years (although I think only once or twice this year, because they had so many other people donating food).

It seems as though SyFy is copying the video's style in their new show "Outer Space Astronauts" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1265869/

Could this be plagiarism?

Not really, since Graham said they were imitating JibJab's big-head shtick.

I was pretty sure I heard it said that someone did a intensive musical study/paper on this? I was thinking of doing the same well a much lighter version im sure and I would love a copy of the other one to work with and compare.

I have to do a 2 page paper with a 5 minute presentation for my Music appreciation class. Which I am required to take to fulfill my art requirement, because my "choral music 1 and 2, Art history, and Sculpture" dont count as art at my new school.

If it was a different LRR video this was about Ill do that.

I was thinking I could easily do Desert Bus Killed the internet star and pull most of the references to video killed the radio star. But its kinda early LRR so the quality isnt as great.

My presentation has been scheduled for November 15th so perfect!
