Fair enough. Does Bradley have a way to download stuff? The Vince Guaraldi treatment he does would slip nicely into any Christmas playlist.

I think I have a new favorite Christmas special. That was hilarious and very well done. It really felt like Peanuts.

OK, I was worried at the title because I thought it would be a straight-up homage; I am not a Peanuts fan, but my dad is, so I grew up with a lot of it. However, I watched in good faith, and was not disappointed. You riff on it so well, and with such sly references, that even I found it funny and skilfully done. I've been humming 'Hark the Herald Shoppers Sing' for like two days now.

Graham wrote:Jer's costume, by the way, is how Snoopy is always portrayed when played by actors in the Charlie Brown stage plays.

I still think you should've taped black socks to his head, but nonetheless he made a great Snoopy. Would Bill have played the garbled schoolmarm, with his head out of frame?

Some day, I want to see the notes for the most offensive Christmas video script Kathleen can write. I'd bid on it for Desert Bus.

What this has to do with this video, I'm not sure.

I think the most impressive aspect was the delivery. From Tally's first line, you all sounded exactly like the Charlie Brown voice actors. Kudos.

Graham, Paul, and I are in the process of devising a way to make all the music I've done for LRR available to everyone.

Only the blueberry ones.

And you will fail, Graham Stark. Mark my works, you will fail to get all the blueberry muffins.

Words, too. You can mark them as well.

I thought scientists had higher standards than that. :P

"I'd prefer a flat mattress."
"Hmm.. Well, it could be done.. If I take the lumps out of the mattress, and put them in the beer, you'd have a flat mattress and a lumpy beer!"

My wiki's webmaster (David Willis of Shortpacked) also did a take on this christmas special, but basically hinged on Jeremiah 10:1-4 saying it's a pagan thing.

Kathleen's point was much better.

Hm. Well, the "hallucinations at summer camp" was a very subtle reference, but I got it. The only problem I can find with this is...Matt as Schroder. (I didn't spell that right.) Why? I can't see a reason. But besides that, it was a very funny sketch.

I'm aware of Peanuts but not really a fan, so I didn't twig this immediately. What made me realise was Tally, her lines, delivery and acting just made me think instantly of Peanuts, they just seemed spot on.

A brilliant Christmas special, I might not have gotten all the Peanuts references (I didn't realise Jer was meant to be Snoopy until I read this thread) but I enjoyed the capitalist parody of the Christmas story. Well done guys. 2010 is going to be an amazing year for LRR if you keep on the way you have been recently.

The way I see it, Paul wasn't carrying aound a blanket, he was carrying a towel, because as Tally said in th Scribblenauts video, "Always know where your towel is." Douglass Adams was a smart man.

As for Jer, I'm sure he dances pretty well, but apparently the stage direction for dancing like Snoopy turned into "spaz out like Snoopy with rabies." But it was stil totally perfect.

Great homage, great delivery. I hope this makes a comeback for the possibility of Jer Cool.

I'm glad I'm not the only one freaked out by the kinda surreal and scary summer camp special. Those horrible kids and their stupid cat D: I was expecting earnest discussion and relaxation (perhaps depressing plot twists), not deadly rapids and sabotage.

Wait, what? The summer camp comment references the summer that Charlie Brown goes away to camp to stop thinking about baseball - he's so obsessed by it he can't concentrate on anything and sees baseballs in place of the sun and the moon. Anyhow, he goes to camp and has an anxiety attack, can't deal with all the pressure, and puts a sack over his head. Because this allows him to act without feeling self conscious, he has an amazing amount of success - kids come to him for advice, and he gets elected camp president. However, he wonders if his success is due to the sack. One morning he goes out to watch the sun rise - he know if he sees the sun, instead of a baseball, he's cured, and camp has given him his confidence back. He doesn't see a baseball! Instead, he sees Alfred E. Neuman (the kid from the Mad Magazine covers), with the words "What, me worry?" beneath it.

Yeah, just because you two have sex constantly doesn't mean you can use each other's accounts. It gets confusing. Make sure you're not using the account of the person you're currently fucking.
