Yay! A brilliant video. Smugness charts are definately the way forward. As is Graham's posh accent. I, on behalf of the british public, am appoint.

Or if they had daughters... Hilarious! I did notice that the studio light was reflecting off Graham's glasses quite a lot though. A bit distracting.

I was killing myself at "one year *nudge* six weeks *nudge* three days", then continued to die of laughter after that. Well done guys.

Fantastic! The added chart piece was amazing, and Morgan's reveal was perfect.

The only thing I'm unhappy with is my posture in the first shot. Wish someone had told me I was slouching. :\

Tim and Kathleen? That's an interesting mix. Video was highlarious, you seem to do a lot of videos in offices. Also, in a way you may never understand, this video was the last piece of a puzzle.

Oh, well done. Leave it to you guys to turn a static set and actors into comedy gold. This is going on my list of favorites.

Also, I too am curious; is this the last LRR-hosted video / 'season closer'? And the first Escapist video is going to move the site to v7.0, right?

I can't believe that this is the last video before the Escapist move! :(
I'm not sad because I think they're selling out, because they aren't, I'm sad because I won't be able to watch the new videos offline!
Oh well, hopefully we'll see some new DVDs pretty soon.

Yeah, I got a sneak preview of the new sight design. It's blank white, with a massive link to The Escapist in the dead center. Personally, I wasn't a fan. It really should be navy blue.

The DVD thing is a question of mine too. With the move to Escapist distribution, does LRR still retain control over their videos? As in, are they legally allowed to sell DVDs of their own sketches? The Escapist could make a claim to ownership, considering that they're paying for it.

Edit: Oh, wait, sorry, I forgot. This is about this week's video.

This was pretty much the same humor style as Phone Manner, but without the farts. Formal, but absurd. I loved it. Morgan holding up an addition card to the chart was a great touch, as was the twist ending where the rich man isn't broke, but a drug kingpin. Matt's rapid loss of composure was great too, but you kinda wish he got to do more than faint about it. He was the only one in the room who saw the elephant (metaphorically speaking), but never got to acknowledge it.

This isn't the last video on LRR before the move to the Escapist. There will be one more.

Yes, yes, and no. It's a distribution deal for the period stated in the contract. LRR retains all the rights to their material and complete creative control (unless they decide to turn it into a porn site, anyways), and if the contract is not renewed, the distribution rights will revert back to LRR after the contract expires. What the Escapist is paying for is the right to put LRR videos up on their site, and for LRR to not make the videos freely available elsewhere.

How is that at all relevent.

If I'm not allowed to find fault in my own performances, how can be expected to improve them.

I specifically said, "the only thing I was unhappy with" implying that I was happy with everything else, so lay off.

I know I am being pedantic but if Graham really was British and from several decades old he would have had said '... you will be hearing from my solicitor'. The British legal profession is split between solicitors who deal directly with clients and can act on their behalf and barristers who under the instructions of a solicitor argues a case before a court. Solicitors could not appear before higher courts and barristers could not directly contact clients. However the distinction between the two has blurred as solicitors have been granted the right to appear before higher courts and barristers have been allowed to be directly contacted by the public. Canada and the United States have a fused legal system where lawyers act as both solicitors and barristers.

And then you complained about something else so you lied and thus can never be trusted again.

I loved it especially the part with the terrible investments (and the corisponding line straight down)

Best video I've seen from you guys for awhile. Seriously fantastic writing. It was weird, though - Matt's reactions were exactly what they should have been in a real life situation given what he was told, but compared to everyone else's performance it seemed... over-the-top. Not trying to pick on Matt here, as it's not really a fault, it just gave him a little bit of a weird flavor. Anyone else notice the same?

But wow. More writing from Tim and Kathleen, I guess, because that had the best flow and most funnies of your videos for a long time.
