Monty Python and the Holy Grail is possibly the best film.

I have to say, as something of an amatuer dialecticist, Andy's normal accent, or whatever you want to call it, is all about the Vaudeville. I totally agree with that other guy. Maybe it's partly because of his singing background, or his stage background, or maybe he was raised backstage by classy performers, I don't know.

HOWEVER.

I don't know about old canadians, as someone said, but I'm going to go ahead and say Andy's accent in this was nothing close to scottish, but, in fact, awfully close to a generic, old person's british accent. If he'd had a quiver in his voice he wouldn't have been far off from being freakin' Miss Marple. All his little noises and ejaculations, apologies, etc, were tres brit, too.

So we come back to old eccentric Edinburgh. You'll have more fun at a Glasgow funeral than at an Edinburgh wedding. And also way too many of them try to be well... English. You listen to a Scottish land owner, they do not sound in the least bit Scot.

But I like the idea that Andy was abandoned as a child for being too ginger, then found and raised by a pack of performers. A lot like a modern Romulus. Andy, did you by any chance have a brother that you killed in an argument over stage directions?

Don't be ridiculous!
I killed him because he said I couldn't build the set of "Julius Caesar" in a day.

... it took me two weeks in the end, but that's beside the point.

I don't know... something to do with lots of debt, and having a good paying job up here.

I've been telling Graham to find me another job that pays too much for too little, but he's not really that motivated.

Oi! Hey now.
You think I haven't been trying?
Victoria just can't compete with "it's a fucking wasteland up here, we'd better pay them more" wages.

I know, I know. Graham is always giving me slack about it.
Basically I was thinking I would get a New Zealand passport, and then I didn't get one after all, and then it was like... goddamn, it's 2005 and I don't have a passport. I can't even go to the states now.

Please let there be a moment of silence to recognize the passing of Street Value to 5th most viewed, taken down from it's 4th position, far too soon, by Rejected 'Get A Mac' Ads.

*Silence*

Thank you.

The Saga Continues.

...

Vid against vid.

...

In the end, there can be only one fourth most watched LRR sketch.

...

Of course you know, this means ...

One man can only watch a video so many times....seriously, after the 1000th time in a row watching Street Value I just gave up, Rejected Mac Ads simply gets too many views for me to keep up.
