Brilliant! Bravo, and all that jazz. Made me choke on the biscuit I was eating.

An Escapist guy actually pulled a really great link.

Yes I know that the LRR changed it all up and added fresh stuff but still like I said earlier the funny comes from the same place as other things.

Just to clarify I liked this sketch. It was actually kind of more refined than the two Ronnies, not to diss them. PLEASE LRR's don't talk about me on the podcast like I thought this sketch was just copying. I'm not!

That was fantastic everyone, I've seen a very weird situation like that on a tram once. Oddly enough one of the the people on the tram did say "Are you doing it now?" It creeped out everyone in ear shot. Anyway, I'm a go get a snack.

Great video, only thing is, it isn't really specified that Matt (or Kathleen, though she never say's "you TWO") is in a conference call, and I don't think he really needed to be, I guess it's just since it can be confusing writing something like that, besides I guess there's no reason he shouldn't be, but when he starts talking it sounds a lot like he's on the phone to just one person. Wow that was a long sentence. Anyway, other than that, very sound, funny vid.

I'm surprised this isn't in your back catalog. The joke is so easy.

You've obviously been to the Escapist recently, as you're reposting a link from the very beginning of this thread. Well done reading others' posts.

Most likely (since the people that were on the other end ended up having sex) Matt was in a call to one other phone, that two people were sharing (probably was on speakerphone).

I can only imagine how long that took to write. I was laughing so loudly my family invaded to see what the hell was happening... I played it again and they were all laughing just as hard. Me included. It's just as funny the second time round.

Not bad I actually think the Two Ronnie's pulled it off better but still nice to see a tribute and it was still an enjoyable watch with out a doubt

I am such a sucker for this kind of writing [Eyewitness Accounts is by far my favorite vid] and this video coincided with my sister and I discussing how we like to have conversations with people who are on the phone by responding to their half of the conversation. Without them knowing of course. :D
Great deliveries, and the writing of course! It must have been hard to think about!

As I said in the Escapist thread, I have never seen or heard of that Two Ronnies sketch, but I will gladly retcon this as a tribute to it, if you like.

It is a very good sketch.

That was an excellent video. The addition of a third person, seems like it'd be all kinds of hard to write, but I guess no harder than Eyewitness Accounts.

With you guys, though, I almost expected it to be that they -were- all talking to eachother, you guys like to do that double-back thing sometimes, the fake-out on the joke. And maybe you did, the way you had Graham and Kathleen missing kinda leaves it possible. XD

Either way, very well done, I loved it.

The "all actually talking to each other" theory doesn't really work because Kathleen says "call Darryl", and Graham's character introduces himself as "Steve". Also, Graham says he's bringing "Brian" in on this, while Matt's character is "Rob".

It is a very good sketch.

fair enough the problem with comedy is almost all of it's been done before

meaning it's hard to make a sketch Which you and every one you may know think is completely original but some one on the internet will find a sketch with a simular joke or style.

one thing though there's a big difference between none original because you ripped it off and none original because it's a tribute or there is already a sketch done around the same lines and you didn't.

the latter version of none original is completely fine and you did the sketch well and it was funny so good job

Well, I refer you to the bodily occurrence known as a "dingleberry". Quoting from urbandictionary.com, it is: "A delinquent partial turd which grasps anal shrubery causing brownish crust to accumulate in ones boxers." In layman's terms, it's a nugget of poo that clings to the hair of your butt crack.

The argument could easily be made that a "fart-nugget" is a synonym for a "dingleberry". For those I have offended, how did "dick smacker" make it under your radar?

They don't work with mobile. So, anyone spoiler tagging and laughing about it looks like a fool to people using mobile web to browse the forums.

my only complaint is that I feel you could have named it something better. Other than that it was great, especially Kathleen's acting.
