Fit to Print
Re: Fit to Print
Hilarious, Matt's performance was great but Wes Borg's energy was amazing.
How hard was it to keep a straight face for this one Matt?

Re: Fit to Print
One thing I've noticed about alot of the season 7 vids (counting season 7 as starting on the escapist) is that it takes until about halfway in for them to get real funny.
Once they get there though, watch out.
Keep it up guys.

I loved this, I thought it was brilliant. XD I know it sounds dumb, but I didn't see Matt's breakdown and reveal coming, I thought he was just playing straight man to the editor's absolutely nuts funny man. A most pleasant surprise.

I want more Wes Borg in LRR OR YOU'RE FIRED!
I thoroughly enjoyed that script, mocking stereotypes and very quick pace. Well done as usual.

Re: Fit to Print
While this wasn't the funniest video (funny, maybe even funnier, but not funniest), I have to commend the acting. That was a top notch performance.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

Re: Fit to Print
Got to be one of the funniest LRR videos ever. Knee-jerk reaction? No, Wes Borg is apparently just that awesome. From start to finish he made that video, from the drugs to the sex to the crossword puzzles. Get Wes more; the writing was so much fun but the performance was energetic and full of fantastic flavour.
Videos I have appeared in so far: 1 (and counting...)

Nicely done video, I really enjoyed it.

Sorry, had to do it. I know it's a good video when I cover my mouth in 'Oh snap' formation. Good job.

ah yes, i remember that comic strip, back when it was funny. I went off it after a while then it started taking itself to seriously and i stopped laughing at any of the strips.

Haha, after watching this, I caught myself taking great care of my voice as if it were sore. I realized after watching that I was feeling the pain of that voice, lol. I hope you gave Wes a whole bag full of Halls after this vid.

Re: Fit to Print
I guess I'm in the minority for once as I didn't care for this video. The script is funny but I couldn't stand the performance. The dialog is great BUT NOT AT 150DB!!! and not for four minutes straight. You should have switched it out a bit by having Borg speak to Matt in a calm, polite voice & only scream into the phone, or vice versa. In fact, Matt may as well have been eliminated entirely as he's only there to be yelled at. All the conversations could have been through several lines of the phone.
Speaking of the phone, the traditional ringer on the modern office phone was a nice touch.
I'll watch the video again later & see how my feelings change, but I need a break first because I know Borg is going to be extremely grating.

So ironic, I think that you're trollin'. But you know, you can always turn your speakers down.Evil Jim wrote:BUT NOT AT 150DB!!!

I did, but his tone of voice is still yelling.

But the decibels he's expellin' don't exactly make him a felon! Though I agree with ottoman, the little hellion - use the speaker control, and put some quellin' on this volume rebellion.
*shakes head*
Had to get that out of my system.

That was so good. I'm glad to see Wes, if only we could see him more often. Desert Bus perhaps?
