Gaming bad guys have it tough. Whenever they try to relax, there's another problem.

Good concept, good production...not that good a video. Maybe it's just because I spend too much time on TV Tropes while waiting for emails at work, but I didn't find it that funny. It could have used more direct jokes...which would have made it into a completely different kind of video...so yeah. People on the Escapist seemed to like it, so obviously it's good to someone who hasn't basically read through the script a dozen times every day.

Tim made a good valet though.

While I didn't find it to be all that funny (don't get me wrong, the jokes that were in there were funny, but there weren't that many jokes), I have to say that I love the concept costumes and characters, and I do hope we get to see more of them in the future (since we aren't getting any Warriors of Darkness; there has been a big villian void that needs to be filled)

That's was really good. Was Graham wearing some padding on his chest?

It certainly looked like some extra padding. I have to say, Graham really rocked the steampunk outfit. I loved the production on this one. Absolutley one of the best put together videos yet. The staging was great. The set, costumes and props were great. I love the interesting black cards (the little shout back to Poker Before Dusk was nice too). The subtle special effects were great.

I have to admit, I didn't find it too funny either but that could be a personal taste thing. Not saying this is my favorite video is like saying one puppy is just slightly less cute than the rest of the pile. I do love the characters and would love to see more done with them in the future.

Was that an exterior shot of Craigdarroch Castle incidentally?

That. Was. Awesome.

OK, I didn't laugh out loud, but I loved it.
I think the humour was inherent rather than in-your-face. Or something. Anyway it was great. Particularly the setup, which obviously took considerable time and effort.

Often outnumbered, never outpunned.

Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

Graham's character has been reading himself some this.

Production values were beautiful here. Video wasn't laugh out loud funny but for me it just sort of felt right. Very nicely done.

Another good video. The costumes and set-up look fantastic, and the idea is indeed a FAAAARRRRR too used one in the gaming world.
Probably the only thing missing could have been Matt with spiked-up hair, walking in at the end to an empty room with a cry of 'God-damn it!'

That was the stinger I was expecting.

I found it very funny, it wasn't hilarious every second, but often LRR's best videos aren't.

Alex seems to be on a role with video writing at the moment.

As everybody else has said the production for the video was brilliant, you guys have really turned things up a notch when it comes to putting together these videos now. You're certainly at TV show level of quality if not better (you don't skimp on effects).

Production and concept were superb, but it wasn't that funny. The ending of them all just leaving was lame. I was hoping for something like: Paul "wait, why don't we all just go fight him at the same time", stinger - the four of you just kicking someone in off camera. Something unexpected.

I seemed to like this video a lot because I saw so much else that could have happened. While Graham was talking about everything that would happen, I thought there could have been shots rolling by showing what he was explaining, but that probably would have unnecessarily ramped up the difficulty of the video.

Master Gunner does have a point. I'm like a subversion of him. I found this funny BECAUSE of the tropes mentioned, mostly cuz I don't read TVTropes all that much. Kinda reminds me of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which I also liked.

And, of course, the VSWP reference.

I felt this was easily one of my favorite videos. Production values were fantastic, which definitely helped.

I fear I do not see comedy the same way most people do. I rarely laugh at a joke, but not because I didn't enjoy it. If I genuinely find something funny, I feel it inside myself and just don't find it necessary to laugh. I just know that I really, really liked what I just saw/heard. The crew wouldn't hear my laughter from across the continent anyway.

Things can be really funny and entertaining without being laugh-out-loud funny, I guess is my point. And this video is one of those things.

Finally got to watch the video. Very nice. I'm looking froward to the LRRCast when they explain how they made the video.

I loved all the costumes and performances in this video, especially Jer and Graham. Also, were those cards the ones Alex got?

Really impressive costumes, nice lighting, though I agree with what those above have said about the writing. Still, entertaining stuff, would like to see a Loading Time for this one.

I for one, am disappoint. Not cause the video or anything, but the fact it looked like you were playing a regular card game, and not Viking Secret Wildcard Poker.

Normally I hate stories or skits that simply list off a bunch of tropes and ar all "hurr hurr".

This one worked somehow. The stinger rally did it too.

Bravo.

I really liked this video. The production values were really great, and while the video wasn't "HAHA" funny, it was really well written and humorous.

Especially using the black magician's cards, it gave the scene more evil detailing.

I liked this one. The set and costumes were amazing. It may have been a little dialog heavy, but the flashes of super powers helped to balance that out.
