Re: Trapped
First? Anyway.
I really enjoyed that one, a lot of nice camerawork there, play with the light and the dialogue flowed very natural. I think that really is one of your best works, despite it all being one biiig sora-meta joke.

Re: Trapped
This is probably my new favorite LRR video. I don't remember what my old one was, but that doesn't matter now.
Also, the omniscient (if that's the correct term) SAW voice: Matt or Jer? I couldn't tell.

That... was... FANTASTIC! The level of hilarity is of the charts, as is the level of awesome. Haha, making fun of us for not liking remakes...
Re: Trapped
That was great, but... why wasn't that cHustle?

^ Stole my post.
Hilarious video though.

Re: Trapped
I agreed with Dared00, this would have made for a great cHustle video, but then we wouldn't have had the intro, huh?
Speaking of which, WHERE'S OUR NEW CHUSTLE VIDEOS? I NEED MY STICOM-Y GOODNESS.
That aside, awesomely funny video, the Basement will never die and I knew it was Old Man Wiggins all along.

Two words - SO GOOD. Like, just so so good. When I first saw that it was back in the basement, my first thought was "oh god, they're beating a dead horse," but this horse is brand new and alive and kicking. And made of awesome sauce. Or something like that.

Re: Trapped
Blew. My. Mind. Just on so many levels. I have to agree that this is one of my, if not my absolute, favourite video of recent months. The doll reference, if anything, was worth the price of admission alone. Son of a bitch... Joystique... Weaving together all these recent plot elements might even suggest you'd planned the whole thing...
Great Matt moment. In fact, great moments from the entire cast. Love the "behind the scenes" vibe. Very Commodore Hustle. Sorry, I'm gushing. Just terrific stuff, guys. Layers upon layers of folded, tempered awesome.

Re: Trapped
So that would explain why you did ANOTHER Basement Crapshot.
Good show, either way.

Hey, now! Who's writing these credits anydangway? I wish there were a more serious way I could point out your typo, but all that comes to mind are Homestar Runner jokes.
In addendum:
Your characters don't need costumes to go to that party now. Matt made sure of that one.

"Flat beer or a lumpy mattress. Take your pick."
"I'd prefer a flat mattress."
"Hmm.. Well, it could be done.. If I take the lumps out of the mattress, and put them in the beer, you'd have a flat mattress and a lumpy beer!"

Re: Trapped
At first, I was something along the lines of "Yeah, okay, not really my thing, but I can dig it, it's well done."
Then the cliche starts to break down, and I grin straight through to the end. And then I laugh heartily at the stinger.

MADE OF WIN.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.
Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

They locked and borded up all the openings after Jer got the call.

Re: Trapped
Very funny. I did wonder why it wasn't a CHustle video, but I think it was more meta because it wasn't CHustle.
I don't think it was as good as some people have found it, but it was very funny and an excellent parody. It worked really well on multiple levels, so I appreciate it as a very good video even if I didn't find "teh funnies" as good as some weeks.
I do hope the Alex-toolbelt jokes make it in to CHustle when you finally get round to making one where you write Tim out and Alex in. (Or will Tim do a Bill and appear in Hustles?)
Anyway as others have said it was also a very technically competent video. The lighting looked really great.

CLASSIC LRR. Meta, "in-jokes", self-reference, wrapped up in hilarity for massive damage. THIS is internet sketch comedy at its finest.

Re: Trapped
Four videos in one day? I think I just had LRRgasm.
Re: Trapped
We talked about whether it should be a hustle video or not but in the end we decided not to.
But don't fret, a honest to goodness hustle is in the works.

Re: Trapped
Awesome stuff guys, I didn't actually expect it to be Matt until Tally and Kathleen showed up. I lost my shit at the stinger and the idea of more creepydolls being in existence is horrifying and awesome at the same time.
