Ways to Avoid Christmas

Postby Matt » 13 Dec 2010, 09:12

Judging by when the mall started playing carols, we're about two months late on this.

I would just like to say that, as a fan, I felt very well serviced by this video. Thank you.

So that's how Matt became one of Conan's Witnesses. Seems pretty plausible!

Yay, Matt!

The Not So Wonderful Life broke me. That running rugby tackle/takedown was brilliant.

This was just awesome. It would have been funny without all the inside jokes, but those made it just about perfect.

There was quite a lot of fan-servicing in there too.. All the more sweeter after I've spent this week listening through the entire LRRcast archive, from 1 to.. 154 so far~! 171 on my list..

I have to say, I loved the expressions during the first Muffle It and the Scrooge. You make a great curmudgeon, Matt. Also, all the little callbacks were awesome.

The Scrooge made me laugh, but I lost my shit during the Unwonderful life. I don't know why, but seeing someone sprint across the screen and tackle someone out of nowhere is hilarious! It always makes me laugh.

And I agree with Fayili, Matt IS a great curmudgeon, his unhappy face is funny

That must be why they torment him so. X)

This was a seriously great vid, guys. I rarely laugh out loud, but this had me guffawing. :D

The Scrooge costume was fantastic! ;)

I love the X ways to Y videos.

I agree, my favourite was the Not-So-Wonderful Life. The tackle and the look on Graham's face just before he climbed over was hilarious.

No wonder the forums used to always assume you were angry at them--you're talented in the role! :D

I also absolutely loved The Scrooge and A Not-So-Wonderful Life, but I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Vuvuzela and Matt wearing a very very silly hat, cause those were particularly hilarious as well.

This is just brilliant. Maybe you could do an episode of "X ways to Y" on how to avoid people on your birthday. The Scrooge, the Don't Play Along, the EMP and of course the Sam Raimi simply made my night (as it is almost midnight here now).

P.S.: where could I possibly get the music you use for these episodes? I totally want it as my ringtone.

This was hilarious. The fanservice was rampant and enjoyable. The It's Unwonderful life was especially funny..

LOVED Unwonderful Christmas (funny enough, I just saw that video for the first time a few weeks ago). Skipped back and watched that part again, I was laughing so hard :D

Thanks for all the fanservice in this one, guys!

So much fanservice! I think my favourite bits were 'convert' and 'unwonderful life', as well as the stinger.

ANGRY MATT FACE.

I love how Matt is as perplexed as the viewer as to why a X Ways to Y video does't have the usual soundtrack, and then is relieved when he plays the song.
