I see Paul's scripts as weird yet plausible/sensible. I see Kathleen's scripts as weird and ridiculous but funny nonetheless.

Not to poke holes, but you know Paul wrote 'Crime and Punishment', right?
The "killing a hooker" one?

I don't see how that goes against what I said. The video is entirely plausible to me*. I figured someone would mention the time watch video though.

*Yeah, more of what I meant was Paul's scripts, er, I dunno. Ya got me. Maybe the way I see it is Paul's scripts are played more serious, nothing too weird, so I feel like they could actual be happening right now a la Bioshocked, this, Mental Battle. All of those seem plausible to me. Toothy Smile, however, not so much. I dunno, I'm just weird like that.

Just watched it twice more, once without sound (see previous post) & once again with the full experience. I noticed there's some pretty heavy white noise in the background. Was there an X-Box nearby or something?

Come to think of it, it is astounding that Jer can do the inner child voice while he can also do the "DO YOU KNOW WHY I BROUGHT YOU HERE?"
Was he on helium or something?

Like everyone else, I love this video. And I definitely believe that everyone needs to be a bit silly and childish once in a while. Like spending a whole afternoon/evening watching Bugs Bunny and Disney. And do you have any idea how much fun it is just to hit a balloon back and forth with other people? It's ridiculously entertaining.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying "childish" and simple things. If you think it's beneath your dignity to do kid stuff then you're taking life too seriously. So I can definitely identify with Kathleen and Alex at the end. If my date wants to eat ice cream and play tag, that's a good date. ;)

Hmm. I could go for some chips right now.

Is Papyrus Press some sort of meme, or just making fun of the fact that Papyrus is a terrible typeface to use for anything remotely official?

Also, there's an actual Papyrus Press printing company here in Chi-town.

I was laughing because of the typeface. And the fact that books like that use it all the time.

Papyrus is right below Comic Sans on the List of Typefaces That Should Require a Licence to Own or Use.

Sound-related FAQs:

Jer's voice wasn't sped up, but it was pitched up. In most apps, speeding up also alters the pitch, but there was no speed change.

The background noise was the air system in the office which can't be turned off on account of the fat servers in the next room over.

On that note, is Jer's voice pitched down when he's playing Creepy Basement Guy?

I really liked that sketch. It was simple, yet really funny. Graham's bit wasw really funny and, for some reason, I really liked the shirt that James was wearing. Probably the epaulets...

It just occurred to me that this video follows Xavier in the series of sketches about inner voices who really want you to go on a date.

The video was pretty good, but I more wanted to say that the stinger and the concept of ice cream and tag as a date reminds me of XKCD. Something about adults doing childish things like that but in a realistic way (XKCD had the ball pit and such). It's a concept I find very endearing.

Huh.. that sounds like something I would say..

Wait a sec, you're not me, are you?

EDIT: Totally called the stinger after seeing Kathleen's name under "appearing" in the credits.
"Flat beer or a lumpy mattress. Take your pick."
"I'd prefer a flat mattress."
"Hmm.. Well, it could be done.. If I take the lumps out of the mattress, and put them in the beer, you'd have a flat mattress and a lumpy beer!"

I would have said Morgan's Problem (AKA, Shrieking Explosive Dihorrea) for Paul going out of his normal style but sure, Crime and Punishment works.
