Did you guys buy ad space at the Escapist? Your "No Rules Means No Pants" T-shirt ad showed before all the videos I watched today.

Apparently there are no ads at the moment except the T-shirt ads on the LRR-produced videos (LRR, Unskippable, Daily Drop); do you get to specify what filler ad goes up when they're out of other ads or something?

I am going to be a massive geek and find minor fault with the command line one. There are two issues. One your command 'sudo rm -r *.*' will not remove write protected files. Two your pattern will only match file and directory names that have a period in them. I know I am being pedantic.

Who else though you should have shot this video right after you shot 'Ways to Relieve a Hangover'?

What would be the correct command line to remove all those items?

Also, more cat broom necessary.

sudo rm -rf *

However this will not remove any hidden files or directories (ones that start with '.') so you need this command to really clean out a directory while you are in that directory.

sudo rm -rf * .*

But it is usually easier to go one directory up and remove the directory you want to clean up.

sudo rm -rf directoryname/

Usually when cleaning up you want to be a bit more careful than just deleting everything.
