Was it on purpose that by choosing to pay 3 smaller payments you end up paying 20$ more or just some bad math.

I assume intentional because real infomercials do the exact same thing sometimes.

It's stupid, but that's how they get you. :P (Also the fact that they generally price to have a good profit anyway.)

I don't think real infomercials do that at all....That would be really bad business.
They get you on S&H, not deceptive pricing.

Have you ever watched an infomercial? That's entirely realistic.

'You can pay $49.99. . . or, three easy payments of just $19.99!'

It's the same as getting a loan, say. If you pay it back all at once, it's less than if you pay it back a bit at a time, seeing as they add interest etc.

I would like to say that I can hear the difference in room tone even on my laptop speakers, and they kinda suck. A lot.
Anyway, I enjoyed this video. Perhaps not a laugh-riot, but it does have a quiet(Har har) genius to it that I appreciate.

One of my favourite jokes in it was "Stroke. Stroke. Strokestrokestrokestrokestroke...." Made me wonder about the movie! Dude must have been a REALLY bad golf player...

I was wondering if the payment method jokes had anything to do with the recent strike of Canada Post.

I really enjoyed this video by the way, and I don't agree with the previous criticisms. The fact that I have watched it at least three times speaks for itself.

Will there be more Yummies sponsorship in the future? :D

Considering that the monolithic Yummies Corporation has had a hand in LRR canon for. . . what, seven years now?. . . I think it's safe to say that we'll continue seeing them every now and again.

I'm a little late to the conversation here. But I have to say I have watched this about five or six times but I'm still laughing out loud!

The order information is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. Especially the raven.

Ok i will admit the first time i saw this last year i did not really understand what room tone was. Fast forward to now, I have been working with a small radio program editing intros and podcasts together and have recently been annoyed by the awkward noticeable silence (even though its less than a second) and as i was complaining aloud i remembered this video and it finally clicked...and now have a few seconds of room tone for those times where you just cant have complete silence

(also, funny enough, we use the same audio recorder as you guys do! I only just realized it when re watching one of your recent podcasts.
