Underpantaloons

Postby Graham » 12 May 2006, 16:36

Morgan fears we're setting ourselves up for some kind of "standard" in terms of quality and production of our shorts. But I'm sure we'll churn out something lame soon enough.

Having said that, I really like this video as well. We've never done a montage, and it's almost a comedy requirement! I like to think a montage of someone training to weird out the pizza guy is pretty absurd. But in a good way.

Also, our new mic is my best friend ever. Sorry, Paul.

That video was wrong on many levels. But also funny on many levels. Did these idea orginate from the "Wii" one?

That's fair. Honestly, I don't really consider acoustical receptivness as one of my better qualities. Just don't come crying to me when you find that the mic's comedy writing is unimaginative and cliched.

Actually, while in a very similar style (one fast becoming "our" style), it was written before Wyy, and it neither was really an influence on the other.

That was great. Loved the end. The little pushup feats were great, and I laughed out loud when Morgan opened the door and hit himself in the head.

Well, Morgan's right--this was an amazing video.

But if you're getting intimidated by the standard, I'll write you guys another one to tank you back down to earth.

Knobbery aside, this was very, very well-done. I must ask, though--is it true that Morgan does laundry every 78 days? And owns a bear costume?

I was just watching it a second time, and I have to say that Morgans' shirt was awesome, the one with the mime on it.

Yes... the quality has gone up with the last two vids, and this one is much better than Wyy.. which I liked.

One note on continuity: Morgan's push ups looked damn strange - as if he were starting from a kneeling position (you can tell from the angle of his back). The reason for this seemed clear later when he was doing all the stuff with his hands - but couldn't he have done real push-ups for the real push-up shots?

*note to self, do not become a pizza delivery guy*

Great Video guys, and I must agree, the last two videos have been awesome. This one being better than Wyy, so congrats on bringing laughter to a guy who has nothing better to do than look around the net for Megatokyo comics and Loading ready run videos..

Later.

Vulgar, yet very enjoyable to watch... that doesn't quite sound right.

I'd never realized what a nice body Morgan has...

Any case, really funny, great montage. Can't wait for the LRRCast on this one.

Hmm very disturbing. Then again it was very funny.

Did you guys get approached when you sent morgan only wearing underpants running in public while being filmed?

I knew you'd come back for this one.

As for getting approached in public, it was a slow day where we were filming, aaaaaand people in Victoria are kind of used to weirdos. So no.

Awesome - this has got to be one of my favourites.

The push ups were brilliant but more than anything this movies good because it keeps moving, keeps surprising you. All of your best videos, I think, are the ones that don't get too repetitive.

That doesn't mean things like the cheese guy can't be funny - so long as you can never anticipate what he's going to say next!

So are people used to weird things in Victoria anyway, or is this a direct result of the stuff you guys do? ;)
People are often surprised by my dark side... It's a shade of sky blue.

Great video this week guys, I really like the big nintendo sign in morgan's room. Where do you get stuff like that?
Also you're lucky that it's warm enough to do nearly naked running around outside. For me it's still quite chilly atm. Only really warm on some days.
