If you go back now and try an old video, does it work? try a recent both an mov and an mp4 version.

You're using firefox? I sometimes have that problem so I just open it in a new tab.

I liked the power cables.

This one was generally a little short on punchlines

Surely HD will be an incentive to buy DVD versions later?

What IS the exact definition of a SamRaimi? I kind of get a general idea...but I really don't know. And where does it come from/named from?

It was pretty good. Not quite laugh-out-loud, but it entertained me anyways. Grats on the new camera :). What was the cost on that baby?

Sam Raimi is the director of films like Evil Dead 1 & 2, army of Darkness, both Spidermans, and some others.

The shot that LRR keeps using as a joke, is a style of a shot that Raimi uses. I think for the POV of a monster. Anyone else care to add to what ive said? Im sure im missing something.

Nope, you've pretty much nailed it.
He love POV shots (see Doc Ock's hospital massacre in Spidey2), but specifically in the Evil Dead series (2 in particular) lead character Ash gets chased by the "evil cam" a lot. It's also how Evil Dead 1 ends.

Oh hey, just watching it again, I missed something the first time:
In the "Zooming is easier" part, at the end Craham says "Brilliant".
That one is good ;). Best part IMO.

And being chased to the windmill by the "evil" in Army of Darkness, I love that movie.

I passed Matt like...Yesterday and was really tempted to ask how his back was now that he didn't have to hold up the camera.

Hehe, I was at the Fair where you guys were shooting...Though I was probably there at a much much different time than you (as my girlfriend had to split very fast so we ended up only going briefly).

It was a huge bundle pack with a bunch of extra gear (bettery, charger, lenses, filters, tripod, case), and the camera which usually retails for $5000 CDN.
We got everything for $4200.

5 GRAND?

What the hell? Isn't that how much movie companies pay for their cameras?

Wait, what's the U.S. to Canada money conversion rate?

It's a "pro-sumer" camera. Like, it's rad, but out of most people's league.

Far from chump change for us, it's a HUGE investment for the site, but we think it will be a big help to our videos.

The specs are here.

that site says this about the camera

Relive life’s most precious moments. Your memories will be brought to life when you record in stunningly lifelike high definition with the Sony Handycam HDR-FX1.

ummmm,.... since when has $5000 been considered reaonable for capturing "memories". It's kinda like alittle kid saying hey mom i want to record what presents billy gets!" then al of a sudden he drops the camera and mom and dad say "thats okay well just buy another one! it was an accident!"

dont knwowhere that came from or whee it was going but yeah that cam is too expensive to have a description like the one it has
The link to site is my msn space site. I write stories, and i post them there. Go read if you like Warning! the story stain is not for those with weak stomachs. Add me to msn if you want to talk bout writing!

I feel I have to buy DVDs and T-shirts in order to replace the money you guys spent on the camera... or then again, nah.

Sometimes I have trouble when playing the video in the browser, but it's fine for me when downloaded, so it's almost definately just my browser. If you guys are having trouble with it once it's downloaded then... re-install I suppose?
