I kind of want to use this as a monologue for my acting class sometime.

Also, I feel bad for Kathleen, having to wrangle all those underpants.

Was that an Ice in the background? Because Jonny seems like the type to ice his bros.

Loved this one. Loved Kathleen's credit as well.

One thing though... WEEKLY podcasts? :P

I didn't notice Graham's hair was green-tipped 'til he said he was "Green Lantern". Then I was like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".

Wow! Story Guy's really fallen on hard times :D

The relentless word play and utter perfect douchbag impression made it hard to keep a straight face at any point, one of my favourite recent

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a prequel to the Story Guy videos...

I thought it was quite funny throughout, but the final punchline was a bit underwhelming. I don't have any ideas how it could be done better, it just seemed a bit weak to me.

Edit: err... Not sure what happened there, can someone delete the double post?

StoryGuy: Jersey Shore Edition.

I've got to say that was some stellar acting on Ben's Behalf...

First of all, thank you for spelling it right!

Second of all, I now have to memorise all of this and torment a certain friend who has been trying to one-up me in the grating sanity department.

Easily one of your more quotable videos. Lots of great wordplay.

the way i see it, there are two possibilities: 1. Jonny is story guy's 'chaotic bro' twin, or 2. Story Guy is laying low after a botched job, but can't completely resist his characteristic tendency.

also, i was a bit disappointed the stinger didn't contain a quick reference to the story guy arc. i know lrr is trying to keep the escapist episodes more accessible, but i miss story guy. he was fun.

I think this episode might be funnier if it didn't remind me so much of my neighbors. (I live in student housing near a bunch of frat guys)

This is going in, like, my top 10 of LRR vids.

Also, lol @ how Kathleen was credited.

A douchey fratboy version of Story Guy? Awesome.

I like to think that two of the three girls in the story were Tally and Missie's characters from "Sigma Theta Delta."

This is Story Guy's illegitimate son.

I was expecting the stinger to be Ben waking up and asking why Jonny had his underwear.

Very much enjoyed this, superhero reference phail had me in stitches

I hate to disagree with you, J-Man, but there ain't no party like an S Club party.

Seriously, though, that was an amazing monologue. What's scary is that there are people out there who come pretty close to Jonny.

Ehhh. I'll be the dissenting vote. This felt too much like a breach of the 'show, don't tell' rule. Following Jonny THROUGH that crazy night? That might work! Being told about it after the fact? Feels massively like a conversation that ends with 'dude, you had to have been there'.

Although I did like his claim that 'pre-drunk' shouldn't count, and 'real guns'.

What did I learn from all of this? That Edward Fortyhands is a real thing. I seriously thought this was something How I Met Your Mother had made up, strictly in an attempt to come up with the stupidest drinking game of all time.

I might have to add this to my list of reasons why the human race is doomed.

Plus...I think I knew this guy.

Either that or Jonny has seen that episode and thought it was an amazing idea.

HIMYM was my first thought, mainly because I hope it's not a real thing.

ETA: Although I just googled it. It's a real thing. Why?

I also learned that a former Australian prime minister was once the world record holder for drinking a yard glass the fastest.

that's the point. This video would have been an entirely different video if it had been at the party. It's Jonny's view of the world, the way in which is speaks and his incredible arrogance that makes it funny. We have no idea what actually happened at the party, whether he's horribly exaggerating everything to make himself look good, and don't need to know. It's funny because the whole point is that it's a conversation that ends with 'dude, you had to have been there', to which we reply; 'nope, i'm pretty sure it would have been the closest earthly equivalent to hell.'
