Shit People Say

Did Paul actually bite his tongue in one of the takes?

Re: Shit People Say
Paul is indeed an excellent mime, and the stinger was the funniest one I've seen for a while. Very funny in a silly, exaggerated sort of way. The fact that you were making fun of the meme at the same time as making fun of the things people have a habit of saying made all the difference, really. It wouldn't have been nearly as funny with just one or the other.

Paul as a mime made me crack up... he just looked so HAPPY.
Also, I'm apparently not playing enough Magic, becuase I've never heard the term 'mana screwed' before. '@#$%ing mana locked', sure, but not screwed.

The stinger did make me laugh out loud however, so that makes up for any issues I had with the main body of the video
Yeah, I may have had the X ways to Y music playing in my head as I watched it.
No reason.
If you need background music, I've put some together (start playing it at the same time you play the video; I've included the audio from the Escapist/LRR logos so you can sync it up).

Re: Shit People Say
this is one of the one of the videos that help other LRR videos be above the LRR average.

Re: Shit People Say
Their are parts of this video i really like but the pacing felt really dragy at times and I think it suffered from the lack of music. Even just a bit over the titles would have helped I think.

Thanks to the Loading Time for this video showing me there was a Spot I missed (and the LRR Twitter account for pointing it out). Even with the exact location shown in the Loading Time, it still took me ten minutes of staring at a screen shot zoomed 200% to find him. Most well hidden Spot to date.

While this category of video is getting close to walking the Green Mile, I do enjoy them a lot. Its always good to see the LRR take on a trend. I very strongly identified with Paul in 'Shit people who've bitten their tongues say'.
He hoped and prayed there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here, and merely hoped there wasn't an afterlife.

I really like this video. Hopefully it'll draw a line under the shit x says meme. It was funny with the Shit girls say, but got real old real fast.
Also, is that Paul corpsing when eating the pastry at the table?

Yeah, and I didn't even bother to look there. I just thought it was stock footage or something. Super sneaky, LRR...
