Cruising

College bathrooms seem to be a good place to meet new people.

A urine video not written by Kathleen?

I wonder how many times the automatic flush went off a ruined a take, but if that happened, I imagine it will be covered in Loading Time. Good old Loading Time.

I kind of wanted the stinger to be the opposite. Although Paul delivers his line beautifully, I wonder if it would have been funnier if really, everyone knew that except Matt's character.

"Peeing or sex with a man?" is still a pretty good stinger.

Oh wow. Haha, wow. That was... wow. That was a surprisingly on-the-nose and tactful treatment of the weirdness/creepiness that is cruising. I like how cruising is just like... hanging out or something. "Hey Tom." "Hey Jules, what's up?"

Favorite line was definitely Graham's exasperated "It's not gay sex it's just... sex." Aaaaaugh you guys you are so wonderful.

Also, Graham is smooth as FUCK as a gay guy. That little eyebrow raise... not gonna lie, my heart may have skipped a beat. :B

All the gay, everywhere! :mrgreen: I'm trying not to let this be my new favorite lrr video ever, but I'm so biased and Kathleen's such a cute lesbian... Seriously you guys you have no idea how happy this makes me.

I'm sure you'll answer this in the podcast, but what prompted Graham to write this? Is it from experience? 'Cause I just toured uVic, and it would be a good thing to know. Also, why no Loading Time? :(

1. Jess's shirt!

2. Slightly out of focus, turning on the charm Graham is like....dream sequence/angel sex guy...or something. I'd do him.

3. I like how this is written. Not a laugh out loud video, just sort of interesting. The stinger though! It's all in the body language.

To answer some questions before the podcast:

@Master Gunner
We briefly considered "Both", but thought this would be funnier as a foil for my character.

@AlexanderDitto
Glad you thought so! I tried very hard to make it funny without the whole subject matter being the joke.

@Psyclone
Personal experience? No.
Does this happen at UVic? Men's room, basement of the Elliot building, tech wing. I have this on good authority, but never investigated myself for reasons which should be self-explanatory.

@concupiscentcrustacean
I love Jess' shirt! She just wore that, without prompting from us. Being as she was our "legitimacy" so-to-speak, she just had that shirt.

I'm not 100% on how it would turn out on camera, but I'd suggest a black piece of electrical tape over the sensor next time. Put the tape on, then use an exacto knife to cut it to the exact shape of the sensor itself. No more flushy.

Edit: After rewatching the video, the sensors in the bathroom you used aren't the type I see in most places. This solution probably would have been visible.

I like to think that Matt and Graham's charaters from this video became friends after their shared experience of questioning people on their peeing/cruising intentions.

Perhaps they became roommates and had a series of sitcom-esque misadventures and misunderstandings while they learn to live with and accept the other's lifestyle.

Hmm. Excuse me while I go make a pitch to a network.

I think the first plot arc should be Matt's quest to find a non-cruising bathroom, so he can run into graham in increasingly ridiculous ways.

I don't know why, but there's something about Graham as a gay guy hitting on Matt that just... works. And it's hilarious. Probably attributable to the insanely good comedic chemistry that Graham and Matt have. Well done, guys.

It's a subset of the regular ailment, so I think it's covered by Rikadyn's original statement.

Please do that in the privacy of your own home. Nobody wants to clean that up.

By the way, is it just me or does Graham like behaving weirdly around toilets? There was Toilet Humour, then Paper Boy, and now this...
