Assassin Creeds
Where do assassins come from? And why does this one look so awesome?

I am not angry at you.

I hereby propose that, if you ever need to change a skit's direction Monty Python style, Ezio suddenly appears to murder someone and then is gone.

Very nice. Gotta love the alt assassin guys. Especially the trailer trash-ish American one.

Loved it! I was totally expecting a "you don't even know who we are" cutaway joke when Andy mentioned the two obscure presidents.

Still probably my favourite Family Guy cutaway.16bitgamer wrote:Loved it! I was totally expecting a "you don't even know who we are" cutaway joke when Andy mentioned the two obscure presidents.
Re: Assassin Creeds
Did you film the Cam scenes this weekend? The backdrop looked decidedly ski-resort-y

Yup.

I have to say I thought Cam looked pretty chilly.

It's always the god-damn French
First, they kick my ancestors out for being Huguenots, then they lose any record of thier existance after a fire in Lyons, now there Quebec collaboraters do this.
I shall live to see you burn, France!
Also: Great video, loved the hick Assassin.

Re: Assassin Creeds
I didn't find this one particularly funny, for largely the same reason that I didn't like "Bioshocked": I'm not much of a gamer, so I really don't get game-specific humour. Besides which, it felt too short, maybe because it ended just as I was starting to get the joke.
Paradoxically, I am thankful that this video exists. If you don't have at least one video every so often that I don't like, I start thinking that the good stuff is only average, and only the brilliant stuff is good.
Plus, Cameron really sold his role, for what it's worth.
I also find the stinger very ironic indeed given that Andy is explaining to Paul what Poutine is. This is the same Paul who dresses up every so often as Jacques Francois. I assume that was intentional.

Lost freemason/templar treasure hunting was a lot more fun to watch then searching for the Lost Gold City of...I'm still greatly confused as to who the city was supposed to belong to,anybody here figure that one out.

Re: Assassin Creeds
Pffft Harding and Fillmore? Way to dumb it down for the audience, guys. Why not go with someone actually obscure like Benjamin Harrison or Zachary Taylor?
Seriously, though, this was great.

Harding is actually rather obscure, but I agree, Millard Fillmore is not an obscure one. Lesser known? Sure, but he's not super unknown or anything.

Re: Assassin Creeds
Taylor may not be a well known President, but he is rather well known for being a general in the Mexican-American War.Harrison's administration saw the passing of the Sherman Antitrust Act,arguably the most important law of it's type(it got buisness competition legislation ball rolling). People better remember him.
That said, I have no idea what order they came in, or Harding's importance.

I really, really loved Andy's character in this. He was dryly hilarious, with his spot-on analysis delivered in a wonderfully rapid-fire pace and style that made it funny. Well done, with our brows held high!

Great vid. Love Andy's acting, has he studied anywhere?
Also really like going back to the assassin with the voice over.

Re: Assassin Creeds
You'd think this video's awesome would be in the big ideas, like Andy razzing Paul about poutine (not to mention getting all the best lines) or Cam in the AssCreed getup. Personally, it's all in the little things; like Cam raising a pinkie when sipping his tea. Details, details.
Guessing the lion's share of this was filmed contemporaneously with Ways to Do Your Taxes, judging from Andy's presence.
