Stinger was the best part, in my opinion. The real punchline of the whole thing.

The second questionable-paternity stinger in as many weeks, no less. And yeah, that was great, although I think the pre-credits punchline was pretty damn strong in its own right. I also love the dramatic "45 minutes later" titles.

Interesting how Neighbourhood Wireless, while obviously having waaaay too much personal information on their clients, aren't exactly the bad guy in this sketch.

Really good performances from Paul and Kathleen over such long takes!

Great work guys.

Oh.

OH.

OH... oh god.

Goddamnit, Paul! That was sneaky. A funny video, brought to the mountaintop of funniness by an excellent stinger that I did not see coming, surprisingly.

I didn't get the stinger before. Thanks - now the joke actually makes sense and is funny.

See now THAT was a dark ending. Funny, but dark. Nice one folks :)

Woooooow, the stinger. Top notch!

(Second-best bit was the "45 minutes later" thing. I guess you didn't really have the time or the necessary structure to shoot a Customer Servicing 2? :P )

I liked the reaction in the stinger made me chuckle. Good episode overall. The rep scolding the customer on the meaning of real friendship was hilarious, as was using it to try getting him to upgrade his plan.

I wouldn't call that a very dark ending. He didn't seem too shocked to find out the truth in any case.

That stinger was like a punch in the stomach.

I didn't say it wasn't funny!

I think that if you dug deep enough you would find that almost every LRR sketch can be dark.

Twice in a row with stingers involving fathers who may or may not actually be fathers.

Do... do you have something you want to say?

So we have a UFL refernce, a MEN Menwork reference, a Neighborhood Wireless reference, and a pet store reference. Outside of cH the most Meta LRR skit ever?

Barring the old season finales, probably.

I just read something about fine print and thought "Yep, Paul has written a video again. About time."

Oh I've been a LRR fan for a while (since the first Unskippable) and have watched a big chunk of the back catalogue, but it has been a while and my memory is poor...

I'm probably going to kick myself when the answer is given but I'm gunna ask anyway. Where is Neighborhood Wireless from?

Anyway loved this video, had me in stitches!

I was kinda hoping that when she said "you can call him if you upgrade to the everyone plan" he said yes, and then she responds, you dont need to, Ill connect you to your friend.

But that wouldnt have been funny.

"Customer Servicing", from 2008. Considering this is the first time a video has called back to Neighborhood Wireless, that reference qualifies as "uber obscure".

Fortunately, you don't need to get the in-joke to enjoy the video.

Actually, I think it was also referenced early in cHustle, when dealing with the broken iPhones.

Yeah, IIRC it came up in cH that cH-Graham was working for Neighbourhood Wireless... while real-Graham was working for Rogers Wireless. (Get it? It's a pun!)
