That was hilarious. That conversation sounded exactly like the ones I have in my head on situations like that. Yes Sir, your flight from Vancouver to Paris will be stopping in San Francisco, Phoenix, New Orleans, Philadelphia and then you'll have a stop over in New York for...Well, looks like our manager has gone to sleep so it'll be sometime tomorrow, then you'll go to London and then to Paris. Enjoy your flight!

Hilarious, and I haven't even played the game. Very nicely animated too!

Re: Pocket Planes
Very impressive work, I can see where all of Graham's man hours went. Great job.
Makes me sad that I will never play this game (I use android phones and Nimblebit's android ports are handled by Mobage, who require always-on internet.).

I think I've said this before about some of the Magic videos, but sometimes LRR makes content that is so specific to my interests, it feels like it was made just for me. I'm sure this didn't hit all the notes for anyone who hasn't played the game, but it totally worked for me. Good job Ditto on the script and good job Graham on the animation.
I see what I think are Kathleen, Graham, Matt, and Muscles Santa in the wide shot. Are they any others I didn't recognize?

Re: Pocket Planes
Graham is likely to be very pleased that you recognized Muscle-Santa.

Re: Pocket Planes
OH MY GOD you guys went above and beyond executing this. THE GRAPHICS. SO AMAZING. AMAZING. I like the additions you made. (I only wish the Nails/Snails joke had been salvagable, but oh well.)
AND YOU PUT ME IN IT YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST. (I'm the guy with the scarf who comes up after the two characters!)
I am reeling. REELING. I love it. <3 So much. <3 <3 <3
And I didn't even notice Graham and Kathleen and Muscles Santa in there! SO GOOD. Bravo, you guys. The work you put into this shows. (Also I'm convinced one of those cargo crates in the opening contains Spot the Dog, haha!)

I believe there is someone in yellow and a gas mask on the far right of the opening shot that could be Flatulence Goldfish.

I'm sorry, I don't play PokePlanes.
...Fortunately that didn't stop me from finding the video hilarious. Nice job, Mr Ditto! And the animation was really slick, too.

Loved the animation, you should be proud Graham.

Firstly, I must echo Yaxley's mad props both to Alex" and G-Star for their fantastic work on this!
Secondly, I refute the italicized statement above; not only have I not played this game, I likely will never play this game (not having any inclination for possessing or using a Smartphone), and I was tickled PI-no, wait I was tickled FUCHSIA by this video! I was grinning throughout the full duration, and I believe I actually audibly chuckled several times (which is saying a lot for a jaded old goat like me). I'll admit that I did pay attention to the discussion about the game to comprehend its general principles, and I have enjoyed 'tycoon' games in the past (Air Bucks, oh those halcyon days of yore...), but yeah - this was firing on all cylinders for me.
Also James? This is arguably the best comedic 'straight man' voice-acting job I can remember seeing (listening?) someone do; you rawk, man! (then again, I *am* getting old, so my memory might be a little spotty...)

I have to admit that 'Scarfy McScarfington' is the only person I recognized, so I'm a little chuffed about that, but shamed by not spotting anyone else...
Re: Pocket Planes
So glad you guys like the video!
I made the Bitizens necessary for the video (plus Muscle Santa and Ditto) and got to animating, while Kathleen took over Bitizen Creation™, so she made the following folks visible in the intro:
Myself
Kathleen
Matt
James
Paul
Cam
LeeLee
and a guy in a hazmat suit.

Re: Pocket Planes
I don't play Pocket Planes - in fact, I'd never heard of it until around "Mustache You a Question." That said, this was hilarious. I love the writing - great job, Alexander.
Re: Pocket Planes
I... don't get it. I didn't know "pocket planes" was a thing. To me, that just seemed like a never ending absurdity. Kudos on the sprites, though. Looked really good.

Re: Pocket Planes
It's likely since I haven't played Pocker Planes (no iOS device), but I didn't care much for the episode. The animation was solid, the writing was good, but it just didn't do anything for me to be honest.

Re: Pocket Planes
ah yes another in LRR long running tradition of humor for Iphone users. This one was pretty awesome guys, you really did great with the animations Graham.
Re: Pocket Planes
The script was originally sort of halfway between "Pocket Planes specific" and "weird airport", but we decided (in fact, it was Paul's suggestion, and he doesn't play the game at all) that we should just go all-in on Pocket Planes.
It's popular enough to hit a big group of viewers, and we figured it'd be funny enough regardless. Glad to see that even though some folks are a bit lost, there's plenty of people who don't play and still liked it!

Re: Pocket Planes
I feel like perhaps I didn't get 100% of the jokes, having never played the game (why does it matter that Nairobi is a blue city?), but it was still funny and enjoyable.
The animation and voice acting was AMAZING! Really well done guys! I have never seen little sprites so expressive!
And geez, I though my flights in and out of Nairobi were bad!!

Re: Pocket Planes
I never played Pocket Planes, but the fact that you guys talked about it on the last TGWP helped getting some in-jokes. Still, it was hilarious none the less and the visual style really sealed the deal.
