The sooner you have the talk, the better.

...

I never thought LRR would be the ones to give me the Birds and the Bees talk.

I think I'm going to be scarred for life.

Sometimes it's hard to guess who wrote a video. This was not one of those times.

I'm just kind in shock after watching that. Wow is the only thing that comes to mind. I'm in tears here bravo. I'm also going to have nightmares about Graham and zucchini now.

Yeah, if ever a video was easy to attribute to a specific writer this was the one.
I really enjoyed it though :D (also yay for Bears in the title)

Mara.

Yep.

It's apparently possible to laugh and cringe at the same time. This brought up awkward memories of "The Talk," but was still hilarious.

This video was both awesome and ever so slightly disturbing at the same time....but awesome none the less.

I also think I'm getting better at IDing the scripts written by Kathleen.

Definitely on top form for this video with tremendous commitment to comedy on everyone's part I think.

I thought "Is this actually happening?" at the exact same time as Paul.

Also, when I saw who wrote it, I shouted, "Of COURSE! Of course Kathleen wrote this!"

This needed to come with all kinds of warnings. All kinds.

My question, How uncomfortable was it for Kate?

I can only imagine the phone call.

"hey sis, we are gonna be filming on Saturday.

"no Beej is going to do the boom, could you do camera?"

"Oh its two parents giving their 20 something son a Birds and the Bees talk."

"No, more graphic,"

"more graphic,"

"No, you aren't getting it... um, OH Kathleen wrote it."

"Yeah pretty much that"

"So sis, you up for shooting my girlfreind and talking very explicitly about having unusual sex with each other?"

"great! Our parents did a great job teaching us to help each other out didn't they."

"Hi, I'm LoadingReadyRun's Alex Steacy. I'm not in this video, but you know what is? ITHWBsuoehRUOSFhneriAHGFHIRGBBSUDDHEWHN!!"

Kathleen retains her crown as Queen of Weird.
Graham mentioned on Twitter that Kathleen giggled periodically while editing the video. Even though she wrote it, I'm not at ALL surprised.

Beej is credited on the boom as "Beejoom", which sounds like a really cool sound effect.

What was shopping for that leather... whatever that thing is in the stinger?
... you did have to shop for it, right?

Well, presumably they did at some point.

Which reminds me, I need to get a wedding gift for some friends of mine. Friends who, been somewhat religious, do not yet have...personal...experience with the birds and the bees.

...let alone the bears? Oh, my ;)

But good one, Kathleen. :)

Nice level of over-the-top-ness, with a great twist.

And GOOD stinger.

And as for all you wussies complaining about scarring and brain bleach, maybe you should go turn your Net Nanny or CYBERsitter back on. ;)

good tame video, I mean there is this thing called the internet, if you go looking for weird stuff on it well the things in this video are nothing.

why do people thing just because you 27 and have no personal experience with the birds and the bees, that you are religious, saving your self, or not interested.

I said on twitter that I literally just finished my 3rd annual LRR marathon of ALL TEH VIDEOZ (and podcasts etc.) and when the very last one is this video it's safe to say that you have in no way lost your touch.

Bravo, good sirs.
Bravo :D

Right. That will not be one of the videos I watch with my in-laws.

Still laughed a lot - especially at Paul's reactions.

Probably would have helped to oil it up a little first...

Probably would have made it a lot worse to oil it up a little first.
