Re: Desert Power
That must have took forever to make! No wonder it ran a little late. How long did it take you guys to make all those GIFs?

Re: Desert Power
As soon as it started, I was like "Yep, Graham got all Saints Row 3 up on this" (if it was a Sublime parody.. Wow.)
I love how some of them stop for a while, it's Desert Bus in a nutshell, all the derp. Also, dat Skeletor. It's cool how pretty much everyone involved from the moonbase is in the video. The amount of people needed to help make everything run smoothly. It was top-notch this year!

Uggggh.
Like, ALL day and night yesterday.
They weren't actually GIFs, of course, they were loops made from green screen footage we shot.

I like the rap and the song makes me want to pop Saints Row 3 back in my Xbox if I ever get a new one lighting got mine a few months back. I also like how everyone involved was there. Will the song be available to purchase when the store comes 100% back online?

Everyone knows the best GIF to come out of Desert Bus 6 was this one. I for one would have vomited all over the place! Cam has stronger willpower than me.

I think, like the Tale of Matt Wiggins (Mutt Wogguns), because the original song is a copyright thing, it probably can't be "profitable". I may be mistaken.
I like the added bonus of the 3D background with the green screen between mirrored CheckPoint backgrounds.
All that said, I may be slightly bitter that I don't live in Victoria and can't actually help support somehow. Silly ocean! Oh well, I'm hoping to plan an Australian Desert Bus get-together/meet-up where we all gather, hook up the stream to a TV, all have laptops or whatever for chat access.. Added bonus of having pimento and badgersprite in the same room. LIVE BIDDING WARS COMMENCE.
Also, poor Cam.. That exists on the internet forever. The "Stages of Mayo". Which is a cover band, but I fail at words.

"No Matt should have all that glower"?
I would assume you couldn't find a rhyme for 'frump' but that line is too amusing so I shall assume it was a choice.

Graham doesn't sleep. He does the same thing he does with lemons, GET MAD. And make comedy videos. Possibly under the influence of balls being QWOPped.

Your right I forgot that song was copyrighted still enjoyed it and the work put into the video is remarkable considering they just did Desert Bus for a week.
I hate Mayo as much as Cam I think.

A gif...consisting of gifs.... OH GOD!!
No, but seriously, great video guys. And, like Susan, I too miss Desert Bus already. I even took a week off from my charity shop job to watch.
Oh, and congrats on $430,000 and a million!

Re: Desert Power
Desert Bus hasn't ended for me yet. Before Desert Bus 6 even started I was watching the torrent for Desert Bus 5 for the first time just so I would know what was going on. I just started up where I left off and kept trying to up the video settings into Denglervision without thinking about it.

Re: Desert Power
Awesome video! I loved it, even though I'd never heard the original song before.
Fugi's loop starts really slow, then speeds up
1:11 Pika pops into frame
1:21 Heather starts looping
1:30 Jer stops looping
2:05 Liz stops looping
2:09 Heather stops looping
2:21 Johnny lifting screens stops looping
I also am pretty sure Pika is not a loop.

"Matt Glower" was a short-lived joke, making a joke on Matt Lauer.Dibria wrote:"No Matt should have all that glower"?

I believe they know about this as there was a tweet saying they planned to fix some errors in the video and re-upload it later.
LoadingReadyRun @loadingreadyrun
(Owing to a file error, Matt does not appear in the video, but I'm hoping to do a new version to fix a couple things anyway.)

Re: Desert Power
Yeah. I pretty much figured they'd do that, due to lack of Matt. Just wanted to make sure they knew about it.Foxmar wrote:I believe they know about this as there was a tweet saying they planned to fix some errors in the video and re-upload it later.

The only ones I saw was Liz and Heather not looping. There was so much going on I missed allot of those errors.

Also "glower" is another word for sad and frumpy experession. So.. No Matt should have so much frump. Only Wiggins has all the frump.

Re: Desert Power
I only really noticed Jer's looping stop as it happened. The loops for Liz, Heather, and Johnny I only noticed that they had stopped during the zoom-in, and went back to see when they stopped.Foxmar wrote:The only ones I saw was Liz and Heather not looping. Re: Desert Power
The first note of the song combined with the closeup of Harry made me lose it. Fastest time to lol in LRR history for me, I think.

Re: Desert Power
Was Jess ever supposed to move? Because, she doesn't.
Also, I only JUST noticed the SkyFall guns behind Harry from 1:19 to 1:39. That's AWESOME!

Re: Desert Power
Pika's adorable anime dancing next to Liz's sexy dance sets up quite the juxtaposition.
