Right... the unicorn ad. One of the best arguments for ad-blockers in my opinion. That thing was AWFUL. The ad itself was stupid, which is fine. But the fact it would blare out loud sounds as soon as the ad started so you couldn't mute it right away was the worst part about it. But that's normally not the vault of the content-producer. It just means that the people running the site need to weed out those ads, and that the people who made those ads are dickholes.

Honestly the only sites I would consider ad-blocking are ones that have had ads that give me viruses though. I've run into that problem once before. But that's not because the ads are annoying, it's because I need to protect my computer.

It's happened to me on at least four separate occasions. It's also hard for the site to prevent unless they vet every single ad before running it.

Okay, I'm going to review this ad. I thought it was cute with how it tried being exciting and noticeable. It had some traces of creativity. I could probably stand watching it 10-20 times before being annoyed enough to consider turning down the volume for it. And as for the product it sells. . .something with unicorns. Probably not worth checking out, unless it involved actual unicorns, but that sounds unlikely. Man, it's been like twenty seconds since I watched it, I don't remember everything. Final Score: One decapitated unicorn head out of five.
