Also looks like the park from Movies Movie Movie. That park gets allot of use.

Same area as the breakdancing from Movie Movies Movie, yes.

I also like how in the background of the Christmas scene, Paul appears to be explaining to Cam how a candy-cane works

Just got to chime in here and echo what everyone else has been saying, this was a fantastic video and probably your best yet! Really like the minimal direction you went with it, A+ would watch again.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to find my way home from this couch...

Everything I wanted to say has been posted already. :)

One of THE best comedy videos I've ever seen (and I'm an old fucker, remember ;) ).

Oh, and Graham? I'd like to think that the local constabulary received a call, concluded "oh, wait - it's those LRR kids up to something; I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, they're great marketing for tourism here!"

Remember James Turner can drink any beverage, without it being opened.

I just assumed he opened it with the power of his mind. And then sealed it again, whilst it was in his mouth.

Echoing everyone else. This is the funniest LRR update in years. Waking up in the chair was brilliance and I'd love to hear who came up with that idea. My money would be on Paul, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear if it was anyone else.

The basic concept is merely mildly amusing, but the execution is hilarious from script to acting and the music and editing is top-notch. We've seen from Loading Time how difficult it can be to get good outdoor shots and outdoor sound and they were both great here. It's much more common, in my experience, to think, "that wasn't as good as it was in my head" than "wow, that turned out much better than I expected it to be."

This has vaulted into my Introduction To LRR list. If you have to put together a reel for a film festival, this would be at the top of my list for 2013. Easily accessible to a wide audience and a genuinely original idea. I don't think I would buy a t-shirt with it, though. What would it be other than a vector drawing out of a couch in a field? I'm sure it will draw in a few more fans.

5 out of 5

According to the credits, the concept was indeed Paul's.

I guess I need to find a way to view Kids in the Hall, because you channeled them for this video and it's definitely a stand out. Any suggestions?

They put many of the sketches on the Nerdist channel on YouTube, with new intros and interviews with the Kids at the end of each one.

Actually, here is the playlist.
