Re: Munro's Meats
That was awesome ^_^
Towards the end I was kind of disappointed by Jer visibly trying not to craeck up, but turns out it was actually in character! Well played, well played.
Mara.

What if Alan Turing came up with the test because he was actually a robot and wanted people to find out?

Haven't done this in a while, but it had to be made.
Re: Munro's Meats
It's been a while since I saw anything so unpredictable. I mean I do like that rare feeling of not knowing what to expect, but the video takes it so far it was honestly upsetting. I've had less disorienting dreams. I love it.

Re: Munro's Meats
Did no one else notice the "other meat" in the video?
Great video, wonderful writing.

One of the funniest, most random, most unpredictable videos of LRR I've seen so far It's right up there with The couch
(And no, I have not noticed the "other meat" 'til now. Don't think it was deliberate, though)

OH.
MY.
GOD.
That was AMAZING.
You pulled off a LIVE-ACTION FEGHOOT!!!1!
Andy is a genius (the twist wasn't a complete surprise with that build up, but still WHAT was coming was still unexpected), and apparently he's been taking notes from Kathleen on how to write for crazy.
Jer is the consummate corporate pitchman, Kathleen acts crazy...just a little TOO well, but...
BEEJ.
ohmigod BEEJ. Mr. Dery you were FAN-dirtyword-TASTIC! You completely sold the seriousness and drama of the situation. Grabbing that knife in preparation of self-defense, beautifully performed.
And the closer - genuine and sincere which again guides the audience along.
Hell, I was so worked up by all the build, I didn't even get the actual pun until the stinger.
That.
That is just...
indescribable. But it's good words.
THANK YOU!
(so glad I've been busy the last couple of days and put off watching it 'til now; I needed this.)
EDIT: Oh, and I've just noticed that y'all owe me some dry britches...

Re: Munro's Meats
Was the name of the butcher influenced even subconsciously by the name of Munro's Books, a bookshop in Victoria recently was featured in an article in the Globe and Mail as they have been in business for fifty years? Fun fact Munro's is founded and owned by the former husband of famed Canadian short story author Alice Munro, winner of the Man Booker International Prize and the Governor General's Award for fiction.
