Enlightenment Gear
Mark Sauceman shows you how to get the advantage on your enlightenment.
HOLY SHIT GUYS! BEARS!
Re: Enlightenment Gear
Just realized the last two videos went directly to YouTube instead of to the Escapist.
The "what's in your bag" bit was pretty clever and comedically relevant given the recent string of lame internet videos addressing that very question.

Enlightenment Gear would be in the same programming block as Relax-O-Cast.

I feel like the only thing this is missing is for Nin to just snap and start shouting at Mark, but I guess Nin's just a better Buddhist than I gave him credit for.

Re: Enlightenment Gear
It's interesting how much better this was compared to the preview, just the little touches like music and background made the connection to tech shows more solid, making the absurdity more obvious.

I love that Andy has the perfect "Are you SERIOUS?" face.
Also... "Elightenment Gear"? Graham was tired?

Is the "bag" really a binocular case? My grandad had one just like that.

Is Mark Sauceman in any way related to Nigel Fitzgerald Brouwer? They have the same jacket...

I must say, I'm in love with the Mark Sauceman character.
And not just because he turned me on to the all-new Android Zen7 4GLTE, which helped me get the paths of right conduct and right knowledge down in twenty minutes!

Re: Enlightenment Gear
It's difficult to explain how I feel about this one. I'll start by saying that I don't dislike it.
The concept was fairly funny in itself, and well-executed, but the overall potential for actual laughs was never that great. It's alright, it's just not memorable. I'm likely to forget about it less than two weeks from now; I nearly forgot to watch it all the way through in the first place.
It's like
When you watch the bad episodes of a TV show you like, because nearly every TV show has its bad episodes, you tend to enjoy them anyway, because you appreciate that you have been given a chance to spend time observing the characters you like in new and previously unseen ways, even though their antics may be less entertaining than usual. It's new, and it features characters we already know and love.
So at least there's that.

I for one disagree on this particular video, but I totally understand what you're driving at. Occasionally LRR videos miss for me as well.
