Super Ripoff

This week's video literally started as a dream Alex had. Myself, I sleep so hard I don't dream anything useful. This Alex character though... lemme tell you.
Then he brought it to the rest of us, and we finished it up into a... thing.

The script called for "a superhero", so we figured this would be the perfect time to bring back our old friend Mega Man! Please enjoy, Super Ripoff.

Triple Threat never would have never put that man in this position.

Was this the first video Alex came up with the idea for outside of Crapshots? I liked it allot :)

This is me! I never remember dreams. Unless its a nightmare then I can't forget it.

That was particularly good.

Are Candy Bars really 2 dollars?

I'm somewhere between Graham and Alex... I usually don't remember my dreams, but when I do, they're weird.

This video was really good. I loved it. :D

Also, candy bars of that size are $2 there? I'm used to them being $0.75 to $1 here.

So I guess this is when we start the countdown, huh?

Great video, guys. Alex, Beej and Paul were all fantastic in this and I thought the twist worked really well.

Fantastic. Very well written and executed, and an interesting idea to think about too. Where DO these freelance guys get the financial backing to operate? Hell, half the time, it baffles me that Spiderman manages to get by on a college kid / photojournalist intern "salary". Those custom tailored skin-tight body suits can't be cheap.

As for the $2 price point for snacks... http://shop.coles.com.au/online/nsw-metro-casula/nestle-kit-kat-chocolate-bar

Candy bars are like $0.75 here. I won't even buy one that's more than that.

That was awesome, it would be hard to move up in the villain chain of command when your bosses are immortal super-villains from another dimension or something. I feel for Alex's character.

It’s nice to see Mega Man again. Has this character made an appearance since “Who You Gonna Call?”?

"United Thugs, Crooks and Furnace-Aligners, Local 812"....I think; first time through I thought Alex said 'furnace-lighters'.

But so many things to be joyful about; reprise of old, beloved characters; great writing to begin with; a view into a tiny bit more of Victoria...I'm waiting for the day when one could just go to various LRR videos and map out the entire city, inside and out from footage. ;)

THANKS FOR THIS! :D

(And since I WORK in a Canadian (big-chain) supermarket, I can tell you that a smaller, independent shop like that WOULD charge that price for a 'normal' sized candy bar; you might get that for more like $1.50 (or maybe down to a dollar per on some weekly sale) in a Sobeys/IGA/Loblaws/etc. but Shopper's Drug Mart/Mac's/Lawton's? Fuggedaboutit. :P )

Exellent video all-round! I can't find a single thing to criticize; I just loved it, especially with the return of Mega Man! :D

I think my favourite part was when the criminal started weighing in.

Man, you gotta get with the Guild of Calamitous Intent, Alex. I mean, moving up the ranks is just as tiresome, but the benefits, man. The benefits.
