Gibbstation 3

Postby Graham » 17 Nov 2006, 16:56

It's always nice to pull our favourite mascot out of storage for a quick On Location shoot with the geek extreme.

And through sheer dumb luck, and a case of right-place, right-time, I did get a PS3.

As an added bonus, I... I kind of didn't sleep last night.
Oh wait, no I completely and totally didn't sleep last night.
Wheeeeeeeeee!

"Can neither confirm nor deny"... yeah, right!

Also, Gibb is awesome.

There's just something about superhero costumes and puppets...

Brilliant!
I just love Gibb... though not as much as these guys you found...

Where did you find such eloquent resell... um... gamers?
Not to forget Lindsay. She's hot! ^^

Um... yeah, so much for my first post.
Shame it's in the middle of the night where I come from.
My posts seem to be more coherent at daytime.

PS: I don't care for PS3s... not that I had the money, anyway.
PS2: PS means Post Scriptum... but... PS3 means PlayStation 3.
Right!?

That's totally interesting.

I'd like to know what the ratio is between the people who are going to keep it versus those that are going to sell it on eBay (or somewhere else).

Is it 3 to 2000?

On another note, I heard on my local news radio station that some independent marketing people feel that, after all is said and done, the XBOX 360 will outsell the PS3 on the strength of number of games available, despite the fact that the PS3 has superior graphics.

It probably has something more to do with the person wielding the puppet than the puppet itself. I swear, Graham's practically Elan with a decent Int score.

Although... having previously had a pointy goatee... he could be Neal. Dun dun DUN!

No, really. If LRR were a game of D&D, Graham would probably be a Bard. Paul is obviously a Wizard - probably the one that did it - Morgan's a Rogue, Matt's a Cleric, Bill's a Barbarian (there's no other way to account for his incredibly high Fort save). Possibly Jer is a Fighter? Or a Sorceror. Hmmm.

I have to wonder: If everyone who's obsessed with getting it early is just trying to sell it, is there actually anyone willing to buy it from them?

Loved it! And the topper: the add at the end of the video was for the PSP . :D

Can we expect something similar for the Wii (i don't think it will be as exciting)

Next time on Sesame Street: Oscar introduces the gang to his new friend, Gibb the Wonderslut. Apparently the grouch likes to eat trash...in more ways than one...

On another note, that hairy ass has the unfortunate likeness of a certain ex-boyfriend of mine... :?

Seriously. Next on location, make people pay 2$ to make out with gibb. You'll make a fortune. Put Gibb's kids through college.

So how much you getting for that Gem Graham? Enough to finance several more years of LRR?

Wow, those people are crazy, thought that one guy did make a good point about profit margines compared to time invested.

And ya, what's with the kissing? I've met Gibb, and while cool, I'm sorry but the puppet is just not that hot.

OH MY GOD
Very very enjoyable.
I really loved the whole thing, especially the thing about... "Skiddies" I think? And the hairy ass. And Lindsay is hot.
But obviously G's sleeping and won't get back to questioning till tomorrow night. I was wondering whether or not you would get film of the rush..but at least you got after it.
And nice job with puppeting. You're skilled at it.

Trust me, I tried so hard.

And got so far.

But, in the end... it didn't even matter.

To those who think Gibb is not so hot:

Imagine him at 4 in the morning, when you've been sitting around since like 9am the previous morning, and having been surrounded by only gamers.

I think it would become rather attractive.

Hypothetically of course.
