Well, I'm sorry. I was very entertained, and I would willingly watch the skit again - already done so several times, in fact - but it's not going in my list of my twenty favorite LRR episodes.

"OMG! Bears!", which is on said list, is a spectacular example of both Kathleen's and Graham's senses of humor harmonizing to become something greater in the gestalt. "Hell's Kitchen" is merely very funny.

THis is funny because it is true!

Did the kitchen ever get cleaned or is it still like that?

There were some parts that I found funny, looking back, but I just don't think this skit was up to par. I want to give you guys good reasons and good criticism, but I can't. I just didn't find it that funny; I don't really know why...

I thought the video was quite entertaining, especially after having seen the kitchen myself. (!!!) Opening dialogue was great - wonderful performances. And the fact that the kitchen never did get cleaned in the end was both dismaying and completely believable.
Liked the badger bit. It might have worked better if it hadn't been taken so far.

I thought that was great too!! :)
I cracked up at that!!

I loved the scene at the house after Brad was kidnapped, hilarious dialogue :)

I agree that the ending wasn't overly powerful, but overall, it was a great short :)

Seriously though...who DID clean up the kitchen??
Like Jagermeister, Ignorance is bliss at first... but eventually you wake up in a shallow pool of your own vomit on a marlin fishing vessel somewhere off the coast of Mexico, wearing nothing but a pair of children's figure skates.

Kathleen - great job on your first solo effort! I also found the hand-rubbing hilarious. And, having faced many such kitchens, I enjoyed the whole concept. The video-game torture I didn't really get though. Then again, I would probably rather clean that kitchen than play video games. So if you'd kidnapped me it totally would have worked.

Keep writing! Looking forward to the next one!

Yeah, that took a few takes for us not to laugh. You can kind of see the back row losing it a little even in that one.

And hurrah! My oldest friend Lisam, joining us from the other side of the country to check out the hilarity!

Upon reflection, I think 'chipmunk' would have been funnier than 'badger'. Chipmunks would also have been more likely to seek shelter under the pots and pans.

Also, the concept of being mauled by a chipmunk is funny. At least, if you've never seen an angry and/or rabid chipmunk.

Then you've obviously never played WoW and had to do what they were describing..

There are those of us who avoid WoW ON PURPOSE
"I swear it," said the other mother. "I swear it on my own mother's grave."

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

Getting addicted to WoW is like getting addicted to punching yourself in the nuts.

I don't even understand the concept.

If you had been in Victoria we might have kidnapped you.
Also, oh man, Brad's hand rubbing was a stroke of genius, and it took about 5 takes for us not to die laughing every time he did it.

What's written on Paul's colander-helmet?

And also, are those inflated condoms in the frying pan?

crud. I have to venture into that kitchen in the near future to obtain a lost blender.

Well, nice to see some things never change!

as for the ending: resolve it all in a two parter. Alternitively: let me at it. I will bitch and moan the whole time but it will get done. *shudder* Just promise me that there are no liquified veggies... I don't know if I could live through THAT again.

Let the quest for the blender BEGIN!!
